What Parents Say
Reviews are extremely positive (all 5-star ratings) but appear to describe recreational facilities and museums rather than daycare services. Visitors praise kid-friendly activities, outdoor recreation like sledding and ice climbing, well-equipped gym facilities, and educational museum exhibits about Alaska Native cultures.
Great place for I r kid friendly activities in the snow.
I visited the museum with my kids. We enjoyed the areas with wild animals and history the most. This location offers amazing views from the top of the hill over the city of Fairbanks. Parking was free on the weekend. They required face masks to get in. There is a gift shop, movie theater and a kids area. Very nice museum. Highly recommended
Such a fun place with great facilities and friendly staff. I went ice climbing there for the first time and there was someone to help me get up, put my equipment on, and it was a great first experience!
We visited the SRC to use the gym while we were visiting Fairbanks and staying in a hotel without a gym. The day passes were reasonably priced and the gym is fully equipped with tons of cardio machines, a lap swimming pool, about ten squat rack/weightlifting cages. And the staff person at check-in was very helpful and friendly. You have to bring your own towels. And the locks on the lockers worked inconsistently. But overall a great experience.
Just hit the sledding hill for the first time, wow that's not what I expected what a blast you get cooking pretty fast haha
