T.Y.L 11 (Tots Year to Learn II) is a highly regarded Montessori-certified daycare in Philadelphia with consistent 5-star reviews. Parents praise the attentive, professional staff, clean facilities, strong educational curriculum, and family-like environment. The center serves children from infancy through after-school programs and has maintained stable staff relationships with families for many years.
TYL II preschool has been a fantastic place for my son's early education. We moved from India and initially thought my son would have a tough time adapting here. But the teachers are very gentle and accommodating. He made a lot of friends here over the last one year. The PreK program is well designed with appropriate curriculum. The school premises has a large outdoor play space. His teachers Ms. Moretta, Ms. Alisha, Ms. Joanne have all been excellent. Mr. Renzo and Ms. Robyn are fantastic admins. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility in west Philly.
TYL 2 is a excellent child Care facility which lives up to its four star Montessori rating. Not only is the facility clean but the staff is very attentive to needs of every single child that enrolls into their program. I have personally worked for the company for about 5 years. It's a very family-friendly environment that warms my soul every time I come to visit. Their food program is top tier collaborating with some of the best nutritionist in Philadelphia. I've seen kids enrolled from when they were three up until the after school program they are 10 years old. The teachers are very consistent, trustworthy, and put a strong emphasis on education and keeping your children busy. They live up to their five-star Google review
I have four children that have attended TYL II, and the experiences was wonderful. The staff is amazing, and the teachers does an excellent job with my children. We have been coming to TYL II for almost 10 years, and the teachers are all the same and have taught all of my children. I recommend this daycare to anyone wanting a family environment.
I love this DAYCARE!! I cried when I had to remove my daughter due to financial issues but before that they worked with me on the payments as much as possible. I loved my daughters teacher Ms.Vanessa she is nice and very attentive when it comes to the kids. My daughter was potty trained within weeks in her class. I am so happy I was finally able to re enroll my daughter in her class. They are a little pricey but the quality is PERFECT and I'd never settle not when it comes to my child. They offer so much and really show what a STAR 4 school is supposed to look like.
A huge concern for us, and a question we asked, was regarding our infant’s exposure to screen time. We were told it would be “developmentally inappropriate” for our child to have access to screen time, we agreed. However, my son watched cocomelon daily, which I witnessed at several pick ups, and was told by staff he “loved watching”. His socks and the knees on his pants were often filthy coming home, telling all that needed to be told about the cleanliness of the room. My son’s teacher was calling him by the wrong name, which I had more than three conversations with her directly about, though it continued (despite his name being written on all of his belongings as well). There were several instances where the facility was closed with only a days notice, leaving working parents to scramble. Then, they started doing half days once a month… that’s when we left. Very disappointed with our experience and regret sending my son, just glad we pulled him when we did.
