What Parents Say
The reviews appear to be for a community college, not a daycare center. Reviews praise the institution for helpful staff, quality instruction, diverse programs including equine studies, and supportive faculty who assist students in achieving their educational and career goals.
A nice little community college, some of the buildings are somewhat outdated but TVCC has been working on both new buildings and bringing the old buildings to a more modern feel and look. They are currently building a new building for medical classes. The administration works well to help students and the teachers are wonderfull. Combine this with smaller class sizes, and you end up with a very nice instructor to student ratio of around 1 to 20 for in person classes, and around 1 per 30 to 40 for online classes. Instructors are great at making their availability clear and with clear communication within a reasonable time frame. TVCC has been working hard to bring their digital resources up to date. TVCC is a decent 2 year school.
Juan was amazing! Fixed my problem in less than 5 minutes! A problem that tech support could not fix even after 3 hours!!!
My experience at this college has been amazing. From the programs they offer, to the staff, to the facilities, to the teachers. I had lost my job, and I was able to obtain grants and attend school here part time. The equine program is amazing. I never knew something like this even existed. I would of definitely packed up my life and found a way to attend this college sooner if I had known about it. I have to give a shout out to Carla Wheeler, who heads up the STEP program. She was so caring and resourceful in directing me to resources in the community till I was able to get my feet under me. Also Wade Black, who heads up most of the equine and livestock classes. I learned so much from him and the hands on teaching he does. He even helped me find employment after I was done. I never took any of Cami's classes (she also has a ton of equine classes), but all of my interactions with her were nothing but positive. I can't say enough good things about this place, from the barn manager Jeff, to the other students. What a blessing this place has been on my life.
