With new management, this place has really become exactly what our family has needed! We really struggled when everything was happening on whether to stay or not, and I have to say I’m very glad that we stayed! Allison, Heather, and Amanda have really made the place fantastic. The teachers here are so wonderful! Especially Ms Angie, Ms Kathleen, Ms Jess and Ms Kim. My son can’t wait to go to school each day and doesn’t wanna leave when it’s time to pick him up! They have great facilities, including an indoor jungle gym and great outside playgrounds. They also have a great curriculum for preschool. My son has learned so much! You also have camera access, which is fantastic! And the teachers are great with sharing activities throughout the day!

The administration is organized, responsive, and truly committed to creating a positive environment for both children and parents. The teachers are wonderful — you can tell they genuinely care about the kids and put real effort into helping them learn, grow, and feel comfortable everyday. The classrooms are clean, safe, and thoughtfully organized. We always receive updates, photos, and notes about our child’s day. We feel completely confident and grateful that our child is in such caring hands. I’m so grateful to have found a place where my child is happy, supported, and well cared for.

My two year old attends Tutor Time of Lindenhurst and since moving up to the Twos program she has progressed significantly. My daughter’s teacher Miss Kathleen is very attentive, kind and patient with the kids, their needs and treats them like her own. The staff is very prompt in their responses and work extremely well with connecting with the parents and their needs. They update you throughout the day with photos and posts to show your child’s progress. The new director Allison is extremely accommodating and very willing to work with last minute scheduling. I highly recommend Tutor Time of Lindenhurst, you won’t be disappointed.

the place is clean and the daycare follows a good curriculum, maintains a clean and comfortable environment, and offers a well-planned menu. The management is approachable and easy to talk to, which I really appreciate. However, not all teachers are equally welcoming or attentive. In the mornings, children are often sent to different classrooms, and the attendant teachers don’t always greet or comfort them. No big smiles, No excitement to show. I’ve also noticed some teachers chatting with each other instead of attending to crying or scared children. Several times, my daughter has stood right beside a teacher waiting to be noticed, and she wasn’t. A bit more attentiveness, warmth, and reassurance—especially during drop-off—would make a big difference in helping children feel safe and cared for.

The new management team at tutor time has been a breath of fresh air. They are extremely communicative on all things happening at the program and have made a lot of positive changes including additional staff training, a new safety surface on the playground and new flooring throughout the building. There are a lot of great teachers who treat the kids as their own and my son comes home happy each day. We get fun projects sent home, as well as daily access to cameras, updates with pictures, potty updates, meals/bottles, and a summary of what the class did each day. This program has come a long way and we are happy with the care our child receives there.
