Tutor Time Child Care/ Learning Center

Our 4 year old son has been attending since he was 2 and I can confidently recommend Tutor Time in Matthews! He has had caring teachers in every single class and he enjoys the balance of activities (group/centers/self-led/teacher led) He learns so much weekly. He goes to Pre-K with CMS now and attends after school and still looks forward to going. The best part: the staff communicates proactively and are so patient and understanding, the SproutAbout app is invaluable with video and frequent updates and pictures! We have grown to see the staff here as a staple in our lives. We are so lucky to have found a stable, safe and caring place to drop off our kids. Bonus: They have occasional Parent’s Night Out and have a great summer camp that our 7-year old loves-especially the many field trips! Would absolutely recommend this location, it is run well and our son has had such an amazing start in his education thanks to Tutor Time-Matthews!

I waited a year to do this review, Because I wanted to give you my honest opinion. I absolutely love this place. My son has grown so much, in every aspect. They truly care, n genuinely love the kids. As a parent I’ve always felt heard if I had any Issue, or Concern. My son is excited to go to school, and leaves his “Emotional Support” Dinosaur, n Turtle on Ms Quinn desk for her to watch them while he’s in class.. lol. Ms Allison also jump in to help with the pets..lol. He looks for Ms Michelle car when we get there cuz he wants to give her a hug. Ms Jada his afternoon teacher is the love of his life.. lol thank you ladies, and everyone in Tutor time for loving my baby. And alloying me to feel safe leaving my child with you. (The live camera feed is everything to me)

I have to say I am so happy for a school like Tutor Time…I moved to NC and it is a different t world from where I am from. I was worried my tiny one would have a hard time. She was Three at the time, and she was a holy terror most of the time. When we checked schools in the area Ms.A the center Director called me, spoke about what the philosophy of the school was and got us excited to visit. When we arrived Ms. C the assistant director was there to greet us. She showed us all around and told us what to expect when we started. We met Ms T, who has been at that school for ever 25 years. Her classroom was amazing. There were like 16 kids in there and it looked like there were 6 kids…there was such amazing structure. I have to say after moving and settling and having to make new friends any kid will have a hard time, and my tiny one was not an angel, but she had very easy transition and Ms T was there all the way with us helping us through the hard times and cheering during the good times. This is a school you start at small and as your child grows through the years you see so much evidence of that learning. Thank you Ms A, Ms C and Ms. T…

The teachers and caregivers have been nothing but phenomenal. As a first time parent, the staff eased any worry for the care of my child and exhibit the same love to now both my kids every day. My children are so excited to see their friends and learn in the environment created by the wonderful team in Matthews. I’m thankful for the education, meal planning, and special care from the team at Tutor Time.

I have to say I really appreciate how this childcare facility has helped my family.My granddaughter goes to a religious school and they have closings on days that I still have to work our mother and I were really stressed out period we found tutor time, and we were so excited that we could do drop in care with them Allison and Colleen have been amazing. They always have a big smile on their faces and greet my granddaughter with open arms, they make sure she's comfortable and has everything she needs. I know she can be a handful. So I really appreciate Mr. Chris and Ms.Angel for how they treat her. And how they show How much they appreciate her light.
