T.U.S.D.#1 - Brichta Infant & Early Learning Center

Brichta has provided a safe, nurturing and educational environment for our three children. We have interacted with every member of the staff and they all care so deeply for the kids and their development. We are grateful to be a part of the Brichta community.

Brichta is the third childcare facility I have used and it is by far my favorite. The sense of the school being a family is hard to describe. Everyone at the school knows my kids names, not just the teachers assigned to their classrooms. There is so much thought put into every day, every month and every season of curriculum. When I first started looking for daycares I didn’t really consider the longevity of teachers and how important that would be. We were at a school for two years with teachers who were wonderful, but they were not very experienced. At Brichta, the majority of the teachers have 10 years of experience and it really makes a difference. You can just tell with their daily interactions with the kids and also in special and challenging situations. The building is older, but I actually appreciate how I can tell that it was an old elementary school as opposed to a brand new facility. I toured a brand new chain Daycare closer to my home. It felt very sterile. I want my young children to feel comfortable And calm and loved. I absolutely believe they feel that at Brichta.

My family has been a part of the Brichta community for the past four years. We could not have made a better choice for our child. Brichta is not just a daycare where you drop your child off and hope for the best. It is truly an early childhood education center. The teachers provide structure and developmentally appropriate activities for the kids beginning in the infant room. The preschool classes prepare the kids for kindergarten both academically and socially. The families and teachers at Brichta have been our village for the past four years and I’d recommend Brichta to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their child.

Our child has been attending Brichta since she was an infant, and we could not be happier with her development. The teachers have been really friendly, supportive, and kind. The administration communicates well with parents. My kid is going to start kindergarten next year, and she is more than ready because of the preparation she has gotten at Brichta in terms of both academics and social emotional skills. We're planning to bring our next kid here too, and looking forward to it.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Brichta is its accessibility. The center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., a schedule that is incredibly rare and truly life-changing for families with two working parents. This extended care, paired with the exceptional quality of education and programming, comes at a fraction of the cost of most other childcare options. It is clear that Brichta prioritizes both excellence and equity, making high-quality early learning available to more families. What sets Brichta apart is its strong sense of community. Families are welcomed and included, communication is clear and consistent, and there is a shared commitment to the well-being of every child. It is evident that this is a place where children are not only prepared for kindergarten, but also deeply valued for who they are. Choosing Brichta has been one of the best decisions our family has made.
