What Parents Say
Tumbleweeds has received mixed reviews. The majority of parents praise the caring staff, quality activities, strong communication, and happy children, with several families having enrolled for years. However, a few parents reported serious concerns including a disputed incident involving police contact, staff miscommunication, safety issues, and limited management oversight.
Don’t show up on a rainy day with some Dasani accidentally spilt on your pants. They’ll suspect you urinated/defecated yourself, are impaired/intoxicated, “smell like urine”, yet still LET your child LEAVE with you (despite claiming his/her safety is their utmost priority) like any other ordinary pickup (as it entirely was), then afterwards contact the cops who will then call your town’s cops to track you down and question you in your driveway in front of your child about this absolutely bizarre and humiliating farce. I swear to almighty God himself I couldn’t write a more WILD tale or EVER imagine experiencing such an awful and upsetting experience (especially after 3 years of my son’s enrollment). I do not drink alcohol nor use any recreational drugs. I am always hygienic, appropriately dressed, polite with staff, and assuredly, potty trained. Maybe they should install a breathalyzer at the door to ensure this never happens again!
My son has been going here since he was 3 months old. He always smiles when he sees the friendly ladies who work in the infant room. He's always having a blast when we come to pick him up. The staff has been great at communicating with us and sending us lots of updates throughout the day.
Our child has been attending Tumbleweeds since January 2020. We are constantly impressed by the quality of care and activities that our child gets to experience. Prepare to pick up a sandy, exhausted and happy little one at the end of the day. We feel so relieved knowing that our child is at a loving and caring community when they can't be with us during the work day. The diligent teachers share pictures, activity, meal and bathroom updates throughout the day. We love Tumbleweeds!
Our child has been a student of this facility for quite some time and he LOVES being there. Our child is always having so much fun when I pick him up everyday and he is jumps with excitement whenever we arrive in the morning. The reason is quite simple - Tumbleweeds hires only the best people who are experienced, caring, and knowledgeable. Management, while equally as experienced, caring, and knowledgeable as the staff, is also professional and prompt to inform parents of any concerns or updates relative to our child. Please do not be distracted by the 'nay-sayers' in this thread who, frankly, need the grammar police to be called upon them. Thanks for reading!
My daughter attended this school for a year, I watched so many amazing teacher go in and out of the school because of miss communication throughout as in between staff themself and with parents. I would have my daughters lead teacher tell me one thing but by pick up a different teach who wasn’t in her room sometimes would tell me completely different. There was an incident that happened and the director(idk if she was director or owner) made it seem like she has no plans to look into it and when I kept asking if she would look into it she stated that she wouldn’t tell me since I made the decision to pull my daughter from her facility due to safety of my own child. I’ve worked in multiple child care facilities before I had my own and know what’s happening here at this school is not normal and really off. I would unfortunately say this is more one of those schools to drop your kid off just so they can play very little learning happens. Higher up staffing like director and owner are hardly there I only have met one like twice while being there which makes it feel and seem like they don’t know what’s happening in their facility, which allows for a lot of error to happen and them not being able to properly adjust and advise without being there. I highly recommend any other school but here
