Our children absolutely loved Tutor Time East Greenbush and thrived under their care! The staff is attentive, loving, and took a real interest in getting to know our children. The rooms were always clean and we got constant updates. The director, Kristina, is so flexible and understanding. We miss this daycare center and only left because we moved!
Both of my children have gone to Tutor Time for the last 5 years. The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and always have a smile on their faces. My oldest was prepared for kindergarten and has excelled tremendously both academically and socially because of the preparation she had at Tutor Time. We are going to miss it here when my youngest goes to kindergarten next year.
I never leave reviews but I wanted to take the time to share my experience with Tutor Time East Greenbush. We have been enrolled for two years now and absolutely love it. As a family, we really value education and safety and are very pleased with Tutor time. All of the staff, including the administrators are so kind and caring. They treat us with respect and are always warm and welcoming. Everyday we get updates about lesson plans, meals, and the cutest photos of our little ones playing and learning. The staff all interact as friends and family and we always enjoy catching up with them. Our children’s social skills and education have flourished in our time with the East Greenbush Tutor Time. There has been a few other reviews with bad experiences from admin and I truly don’t see any merit with those claims. The school leadership team is never afraid to jump in and change a dirty diaper or comfort a little one. They work as a team and truly care about the quality of education and care each child receives. We’ve contemplated moving out of the area but one of the main reasons we can’t bring ourselves to do it is this facility. If you have the chance to enroll and attend Tutor Time in East Greenbush, I would highly recommend it!
We did not have a good experiance in this day care. well let me start with the director , she didn't have a welcoming face , she just do a minimal job. Our son's teacher tried her best but she had 7 kids in a class room by herself so obviously she looks very tired. our son is not even 3 years old and he was very bored in the class room. i didn't see kids friendly environment , it was just boring even for me to stay there ( for 5 min conversation ) . IF there is an incident happened in a class room while the teachers are there all day with the kids , well they ask you to sign about the incident ( as if you were there while it happened ), the kids are very young That's why they are there . my son stayed there 2 days but i could say more about the day care . Anyways I highly do not recommend this daycare !
Tutor time is not the cheapest daycare option out there. I wish it was a little more affordable but these are my kids we are talking about. I would rather skimp somewhere else than on my girls. The teachers have all been fantastic. My kids are way more developed than our friends children at the same age and even a little older. I would love to credit that to my hands on parenting, but they spend their days at Tutor Time while I am at work. We know that children will pick up any habit quickly, but I am always impressed to have my 3 year old tell me a story about her day and her Teacher Miss Nikki and Miss Rebecca. I can tell that she is actively engaged and learning while there. They are not just watched, they are involved. The teacher (Miss Shelby) for my 1 year old will ask me what we are working on at home. I'll state that we are working hand eye coordination or maybe getting her to walk without holding on our furniture. At the end of the day, I will get a report card on what they tried to work on. Tutor time is very in line with my parenting style. I am always impressed with how well my children are treated, cared for, and taught. I have no worries about their safety when they are there. That peace of mind is more than worth the extra cost associated with Tutor Time. The Director (Miss Laurie) is Fantastic and I cannot say enough about her. She makes sure that all the teachers are on the same page and is the glue that holds Tutor Time together and makes it such a warm, caring, and fantastic place. My girls feel at home at Tutor Time and I send all my friends there too.
