Our experience with this school was positive during our first year; however, our perspective changed after new directors assumed leadership. A safety-related incident occurred in another classroom, not our child’s. While our child was not directly involved, the situation raised concerns for our family regarding overall safety and communication. Around this time, our child’s teacher resigned, and we made the decision to withdraw our child based on our comfort level with the environment. We also had concerns about a coffee shop operating in the chapel during school and chapel hours. When we shared our concerns, we did not feel they were adequately addressed. We had already paid tuition for January, during which time our child did not attend. After withdrawing, the school declined to issue a refund, stating the circumstances did not meet their criteria for a “compelling” withdrawal and indicated tuition payments were still expected. Our interactions with leadership were challenging and did not feel collaborative. Families considering enrollment may wish to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, leadership communication, and withdrawal policies.
The most amazing preschool in St Augustine! With my oldest, we were looking for a true Christian preschool. I wanted a safe and small place to send my littles mostly for socialization. What I got was so much more. The teachers have longevity at the school and the curriculum well prepares children for kindergarten. School leaders are present, parents are involved and it is a very family centered atmosphere. After my son had such an amazing experience, I sent my two younger children. All three of my kids felt nurtured and are well adjusted and confident learners in elementary school. I attribute a lot of that to the amazing teachers at Trinity. I highly recommend this school.
What's amazing staff and school. I moved from NYC, and tried finding school for my 2 year old and when I found trinity, I could say I was the luckiest person ever. Thank you for all what you did for my son..we will miss you very much!!
