was here for 6 years, the amount of religious trauma that I had to unravel as an adult later on was not normal. girls were taught about purity culture, guys were excused for their inappropriate actions. i grew up gay and was shoved bible verses in my face in hopes it would change (still gay btw). way too many problems that went on without anyone reporting it or being disciplined. didnt think it was fair to be told us girls needed to "cover up" at 12 years old. i dont have a problem with religious people but something needs to be done about shaming the younger girls and not keeping the young boys accountable for their inappropriate actions. disgusting

Over the past year, my experience with this center has been marked by ongoing challenges with communication. Despite the center’s strong reputation, my interactions have often felt unwelcoming and exclusive. I’ve made several attempts to share my concerns directly with the director, but unfortunately, I have not received any response. Most recently, after patiently waiting a year for a spot for my child, I was informed that it had been given away due to a miscommunication on the center’s part. I sincerely hope that future families are met with clearer communication and greater respect throughout their experience. I would love to just be heard at this point, hoping I at least get some response to this review.
Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming from my first visit in Aug 2015 and everyday since then. They offer several diff Sunday School classes for both services. Children love attending their own service held by Mr.Tim in kids street. I enjoy the many opportunities they have to connect and serve. If ur new to the area or simply looking for a church to call home, i encourage you give us, Triad Baptist Church, a try.
