We absolutely love Treasure’s Academy! My grandchildren have been attending for almost four years, starting as infants. We have nothing but positive things to say! We love the cameras in the rooms so we can see them at any time. Any time we have a question, we get a fast complete response. Our kids love the teachers, director, owner and those at the front desk. Seeing them light up as they are hugged and loved on, makes this Mimi’s heart full. I am so happy we found Treasure’s!
I’ve been taking my kids to this daycare for almost 4 years now, and we absolutely love it! Both of my kids are always excited to go and come home telling me all about the fun they had. Most importantly, they’ve built real bonds with some teachers, including the director, and assistant director. I know they are truly loved and cared for every day. Any time I’ve had a question or concern, I’ve gotten a quick and helpful response. I have tried a couple of other daycares with my oldest, but this one has easily been the best. I couldn’t ask for better care for my children!
The horrors that are this daycare. From not properly training their staff, to having staff without background checks on file, staff not having any form of cpr training or other needed training courses, (you can find that with states most recent visit they listed 3 or 4 staff without proper training or back ground reports this is public knowledge) to hiring teens that use their position as a power trip against kids they dont like. So where do we start! There is a teacher still working here that was previously fired for god knows what. Well she was rehired and.. she was reported several times for not changing diapers ALL DAY leaving kids with serious rashes... said teacher has also been seen by other teachers to turn her back while children fight/ bite each other. This teacher has been reported to the director a few times about this and other things and is still employed. Megan.... there has been a teacher mentioned to the director and assistant for being to aggressive with the babies.. by a few parents. Who raises her voice at litteral babies and who has been seen on camera reacting out of frustration towards again babies.. pushing cribs around the room while crying babies stand in them until she jerks the crib and they fall...Katie A teacher in the toddler room who had a whole case opened on her about an incident with a child that was not fired until parents continually spoke out about the abuse that happened... and when parents asked they were told that teacher was a great teacher... even tho there was an entire case opened and she was found in violation of daycare standards of how to treat children. Serena A teacher in the 3/4 room whose always on her phone on not paying attention to the children.. who has walked out of the room because it slipped her mind that she was the only teacher in there.. she sits or is on a phone call while they are climbing on the windows seals, tables, cabinets and jumping off, and even this week a gril BROKE HER ARM in this teachers care and did the teacher report it? No the teacher let this child continually cry and even got frustrated at this child for crying! Another person that works in a completly different area at the daycare was the one that was kind enough to check on a clearly upset child and see something was wrong and she was hurt.. someone that was supposed to be kind and care for children let this child cry without any empathy with a broken bone! Latasha How would you feel leaving your child at this daycare? Especially knowing all of these people have not been fired or had any type of reprocussions for how they treat children? (Besides Serena and it was 2 months after the incident) They do not care about the kids they care about their image. Its further proven by the fact that the last 5 or so reviews with high ratings without writing are from employees only to help combat the recent low ratings. Think about that if youre considering sending your child here. And if youre a parent whose child goes here if you see something on camera dont be scared to say something!
As a working mom of two who has a background in PreK and state licensing, I was VERY particular in choosing what was going to be a good fit for childcare. Daycare was not what we had planned, but plans change! We are so thankful to have found Treasures Academy. They answered all of my ridiculous questions, kept me in the loop, and continue to do so with my youngest child being there. No place is perfect, but I can tell you that it meets and exceeds standards in many ways in accordance to state licensing protocol. Not to mention, they have some staff members that have been long-standing and are true gems. We’ve been with TA for 6/7 years. They are truly a blessing.
I have sent my kids here for going on 4 years now. We’ve experienced every class from newborns to 3-4 year olds. We are treated like family. My kids are loved by not only their teacher, but the front staff and Director. I can continually see what is going on via the cameras and if I have ANY questions, I am immediately responded to. I would never trust anyone else with my kids.
