This daycare has went downhill since Makayla took over as director. Used to run great when Stephanie was there. They never have proper staff to children ratio. My daughter has came home with dirty diapers multiple times. The big lady sits on her phone all day in the director office. Every time you walk in a room staff has there phones out. Would never recommend this place.
Sent both my kids 7 and 4 for the summer program there this year at Traditions Centre 2. Both were so happy and were looking forward to go there every morning which makes it needless to say they were happy there. The field trips made it all the more fun. Very safe, and family like atmosphere. I specifically would call out the director Stephenie for her being there always for trivial to critical queries, Ms Jennifer, Ms Megan, Ms Lee'Ann and Ms Connie for their positive vibe always. Thanks again !
Love this center! My daughter is in the preschool room & she is so excited to go every day! Makaila the director is amazing, & you can tell she really cares for these kids & parents. It’s so nice to be able to go to work & not have to worry if your child is taken care of or not because they rock!
We have been taking our infant here since the beginning of the year, we could not be happier with the services we have received. Makaila, the Director, and all of her staff treat us like family and baby comes home every night with a smile on the face. Even in the midst of a medical emergency (due to baby’s own health reasons,) staff provided immediate attention and care which we could not be more thankful for! If you are needing childcare in the Des Moines area, I would recommend checking out Traditions Children’s Centers. They also have several locations!
Can’t say enough good things about this daycare for my kids. My kids have been going to traditions since my twins were 6 weeks old! My youngest son was diagnosed with diabetes just last year and the staff go above and beyond for him. When things had to change, the staff didnt hesitate. Us and the staff have a group chat created to stay on top of things and communicate for him. When he needs dosed to what he eats. Makaila (the director) is always making sure the staff have their phones on them so they can see our messages if our son needs something. She creates staff meetings just for our son so everyone is on the same page. All staff there is amazing, but one particular is Ms Makda. She takes care of our son like it’s one of her own. She is always there for not only him but for us too. Whenever when need something she’s our go to. We love her and appreciate her so much! Like I said, this daycare and their staff are great! They always communicate with us. Even though it may seem staff are on their phones it’s because of our son and staying on top with us :)
