Good school Very good teachers My boys have been in this school for 2 years good support system My oldest son also came here a couple of years ago
I can't say enough good things about Traditional Education Center! My little ones went here for preschool, and as any parent knows, leaving your babies with someone else is HARD. But from day one, this place just felt right. The teachers are absolute gems. Like, the kind who get down on the floor to play with the kids and somehow remember every single thing your child did that day. The best part? They actually teach the kids stuff! Not just ABCs and 123s (though they definitely do that too), but my son was writing his name and recognizing sight words before kindergarten. He transitioned to elementary school so smoothly that his kindergarten teacher asked where he went to preschool. And don't even get me started on the little things - like how they handle those inevitable preschool meltdowns with such patience, or how they always have time for a quick chat at pickup. My kids would literally run into school every morning, which if you've ever had a clingy toddler, you know is basically a miracle. Look, choosing a preschool is stressful (I definitely lost sleep over it). But Traditional Education Center? They're the real deal. My kids are thriving now, and I 100% credit their amazing start at Traditional. If you're looking for a preschool where your little ones will be loved, taught, and actually excited to go every day - this is it. P.S. The holiday performances are adorable, and they actually teach the kids songs beyond "Baby Shark" 😉
The experience at traditional center briadway is emcaulet.his teacher and staff is very understanding and friendly
I do not recommend!!!!!! My daughter began attending when she was 1 years old. They did not cook on the premises so there was food company that delivered lunches, but my daughter did not like or want to eat it, but they would not allow me to pack a lunch to send with her. many days when I was available, I would bring her meal to ensure that she ate because she would come home cranky and upset because of it. Also, my daughter was not verbal and was receiving early intervention services prior to her enrollment at the daycare and her speech therapist and SI planned for her to receive services at their site. The director (not sure of her name but she was an older Hispanic lady) of the infant to 2yo classes wanted to hold a convo about the development of my daughter. Her tone was very nasty and harsh when speaking with me, and I left her office feeling bad as if I wasn't doing all that I could. I really and truly thought I was the problem until I saw one of their previous teachers and she confirmed that the director was in fact rude and spoke to people in a tone that was disrespectful which was why she no longer works there. She also shared that the daycare was not sanitized as they report that it was, they will tell parent that they had a cleaning team to sanitized daily but that it was a lie. I will add that my daughter was at this daycare for about 1 year and I will attest to staff constantly resigning because as I stated they were always severely understaffed. Towards the ending of her stay, there was an outbreak of hand, foot, mouths disease, the daycare was regularly closed, and the director gave very little information as to how the situation would be rectified. When I called regularly to get more information, I came to find out that the daycare reported me to the agency that I was receiving my childcare subsidy, and my subsidy was terminated. I was very lucky that my daughter was turning 2 years old to get her the hell outta there. She started the Greater Salvation Army which was about a block away from this day care and with her services she was talking and verbally expressing herself. She is 6 years old today and is an honor roll student. Also, there were about 2 teachers that I knew of that worked at Traditional that had small children and took them out of Traditional to put them in The Greater Salvation Army Daycare. I never got a chance to see how the 2 yo to 5yo classes were but having a small child that was not verbal at this location is a gamble imo. I'll add that my daughter's speech therapist at the time also did not have good things to say about the site. Said that she will come in various hours and the children were just sitting around, not engaged, the teachers were on their phones not being attentive to the children. She understood that daycare spots were limited which is why I kept her there until she was 2.
I would not recommend this place for your children. I came applied my son because I loved the setting and how everything was put together but however the ladies in the front are very rude and walk around with attitudes. Being that this is a kid’s environment there should be nothing but positive vibes when you come through that door!!! Besides that, ms.Cynthia and the other woman I’m not sure her name they were amazing with my son, I just hate how the “ director “ of the organization feels as though she can speak to the parents however and we are to show respect , nah I’ll pass lol & take my $$ elsewhere
