Toy Box Day Care

We have 2 children who have attended The Toy Box for the past 4 years, and love it! We have had a child in every classroom and never had any concerns. The teachers and directors are always available to discuss daily activities, adjustment, and to answer questions. The effort they put in to keeping the kids engaged while learning and having fun is amazing. They truly care for the children and their development. I am so happy we chose Toy Box and will continue to recommend them for childcare needs.

Both my children (ages 8 months and 4 y/o) attend this daycare and I absolutely love it! They love both my kids like their own. My 4 y/of has learned a lot from the teachers there and has never had a problem. The administrators have always been friendly and informative. Im glad I found this place, they've been great!!! I recommend it to everyone!

Highly disappointed in this daycare. There is a high turnover rate of young “teachers” and teachers that are too old to handle the number of children in the class. My nephew is three years old and had never been in child care away from home. This was an entirely new world for his little mind to process. Within the first week of his only three week enrollment at the Toy Box a letter was sent home incorrectly addressed with his name also misspelled throughout the letter (nice to see the staff invests enough time to at least spell him name right). As a three year old in a new environment, he was given zero time to adjust because the teachers and director of the day care moved him from room to room within a single day and expected him to adjust and fall into their routine. As if that isn’t enough to put a sour taste in your mouth, when addressing the teacher to ask how my sister could help my nephew adjust to their routine she was rudely cut off with a hand in the face followed by a snarky “You need to take that up front, I have children I can’t engage you right now!” and this was after the teacher made some snide, hurtful remark about my nephew thinking that just because she didn’t see my sister that surely she couldn’t hear what she said. WRONG! And nothing was done about it and getting a hold of the director to discuss the issues was next to impossible. As someone who has worked in child care before, you always, ALWAYS acknowledge a parent when they walk in the door. PERIOD! I wouldn’t pay to let me dog be cared for in that facility let alone a small human. Absolutely unacceptable behavior of the staff.

My child is In week 2 of going here and he loves it comes home every day excited to tell me about his day and wanting to go back. The staff is great I love they have different teachers in the morning and then in the afternoon gives them a new face and person who isnt tired to play with. We so far love this daycare

My children were at the Toy Box and I recently took them out. They had a high turnover of a young staff, horrible communication, and the directors seemed "nice" originally but only spoke to you when it was time to pay tuition or when your child was sick. Very impersonal and uncaring. Constantly changing their rates or charging you for supply fees.
