What Parents Say
This facility received perfect 5-star ratings from all reviewers. However, the reviews appear to be for the Town and Country Commons Library rather than the Head Start daycare program. Reviewers praised the clean facility, friendly staff, extensive resources, and variety of programs and services available.
I used to come to this library when I was in high school which is long time ago. I brought my daughter here yesterday for the first time, she loved it, the kids library is awesome, lots of fun activities and books and most importantly the staff were super friendly, especially the manager, he walked me through the entire building and explained everything for me. Even the policemen here were super friendly. Can't wait to be back
I'm just going to come right to the point.... I am thoroughly disgusted and not to mention sick and tired of being harrassed by librarians about the whole sleeping thing. I never have nor do I ever intend to "break the rules" by sleeping or in my case I have a tendency to randomly doze off. I don't bother anyone and this white lady who I never seen before tells me that "sleeping is not allowed in the library" like I'm stupid or that I did it on purpose. I've been here for ten years. I have undisclosed medical quirks when it comes to that which are NOT MY FAULT. I'm sitting at the computer minding my own business and I am tired of this ignorant bullshit. Then I get threatened with the prospect of trespass for a year at two other locations. FOR WHAT?????!!!! Show some empathy for people instead of beating them up, singling them out and talking down to them. Thankfully these days I only come in here when I absolutely have to. With all the renovations they have done to the buildings I think you can apply some of that positive energy to the way you treat people.
I had been studying in the Town ’N Country Regional Public Library for hours, and at 6:01 PM, just one minute after closing, I asked to use the restroom before leaving. The staff—who were predominantly white—refused and told me I couldn’t use it. This is a public institution funded by taxpayers. Denying someone access to a public restroom, especially someone who had already been inside for hours, is unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of compassion and civic duty. The staff seemed more focused on going home than meeting their public service obligations. It was embarrassing, disrespectful, and tells me everything I need to know about who this library is really for. I won’t be coming back, and I urge others to think twice before supporting a place that treats members of the public this way. Stand clear, don’t take your kids here. This place should be defunded
Hi, I just posted pictures of the little gem bookstore in the Town N Country library. All books are either priced $1.00 or 50 cents. They have puzzles, cd's also Some books are priced a little bit more but still a bargain. Come in and shop for great book deals.
I love the hours and it's always quiet even when the students are there. I would like to see more individual desk along the wall with an outlet close by.
