As the time is coming around to sign your child up for preschool next year let me share my experiences and warnings. I signed my son up in the summer of 2023 and he continued at to the school until the end of February 2024. Initially he had a great experience. However there was an abrupt change of staff which lead to almost weekly turnover. Eventually they settled on some teachers and suddenly my son was experiencing daily behavioral issues. My son enjoyed the school and was always happy to go there. However the staff didn't seem to be able to manage my son and said he had extreme behavioral issues. They also made up stories about the way in which my son's father died which I think really bothered my son. Due to the information I received from the school, I had extensive testing done on my son through the my public school system and a private psychiatrist. They found no outstanding diagnoses or behavioral issues. He started at a new preschool and has had no behavioral issues. At the new preschool he is at the teacher is experienced and has no issue managing a classroom. My son still talks about how at his first preschool the teachers did not like him. I have tried to create a different narrative for him but this is in his head. These people really hurt my son emotionally. I would use all caution to avoid this place. I have documentation of everything that I am saying here and I'm more than willing to talk to anyone further about it.
I knew as soon as I walked in the door this place was for us! It’s the perfect balance between play and learn. They make learning so fun! I cant begin to tell you how much our girls learned...two have “graduated” from there and we can wait for the next! It’s a second family. Not only have my girls made lasting friendships I have as well. You have come to the right place if you want your kids to enjoy learning and be kindergarten ready. The loving caring nurturing over all warm feeling you will fall in love with at your first visit!
I have known the owner for years, very loving, energetic woman and mom! I have also visited the school two times. The teacher is very patient and great with this age group. The children are very happy and well behaved. An awesome learning environment!

Torrington preschool center is a amazing preschool it goes way beyond most preschools.. there is so much love and care throughout the school ...the teachers are amazing and the environment is extremely welcoming!
