I've had to go there for food 3 times this year. Each time the woman was rude. She sat the bag on the step and walked away. Each time we've gotten expired food. 90% of what we got was expired. Barely anything we can use. I spent more on gas then what I got to feed a family of 4. If you go to the food pantry, make sure to check the expiration dates.

I signed up for a head start for my child in 2021. I literally moved so I could find him childcare somewhere else. The follow-up of this agency is so atrocious. Worse than waiting on SSA benefits. Even with court backing!

Went to get food from the pantry. The worker, Tasha seemed very impatient and a bit rude. I had thought my pick up was at 10:30. She said, "You're gonna have 'ta move 'cause you're appointment is at 10:45." No problem. I told her I was sorry, ai had thought it was 10:30. She said "nope, 10:45" and went inside and let the door shut behind her. Rude and discourteous, but I drove off as requested. I got stuck in traffic so I was running late. She called to make sure I was coming back. I said, "yeah, I'm a block away." She hung up. No "ok, see you soon" or anything. I was 10 min late. She brought the food out and as she sat it down she said, "that was close." Put the food down and then went inside and let the door slam behind her. Nothing friendly, nothing kind or even courteous in any sort of way. Not even a "Bye, have a nice day" or anything? I told her thank you even though she was being rude. I know workers get stressed, but come on. Made me feel bad for what? This person needs some training and support. Not happy at all with the mistreatment.
