This school is an outstanding five-star institution. The teachers and staff have been part of the team for years, and the children appear very comfortable and happy with the care they receive. My son loves it here and only speaks positively about his experience. I appreciate that the daily routine is well-organized, and the school pays great attention to detail.
This facility here should not even exist at all! and the owner steady deleting all negative feedback back to try and make this facility look good! it's extremely ghetto! and gives off and smells like a nursing home. the teachers talk to the kids like they are animals. the teachers in there speak negative about the kids and parents and sit around all day being lazy. it's hot and humid the director is taking personal calls while on the clock and her office is cluttered and NASTY.kids are not learning anything at all! I could go on!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this childcare & pre-K! My son had emotional outbursts/violent reactions to being offended or corrected. He was socialized in daycares from age 6 mo. The violent outbursts ended after enrolling at T.A. at age 4, after having been expelled from La Petit Academy. The difference between this school and others is that these educators actually CARE about helping your child improve on their social/ emotional/ behavioral issues. They do it in a firm, but compassionate way that works because the child understands that the teachers really care about them. Other schools just punish for momentary results. At T.A. Beechwood your child will absolutely learn to follow rules and be respectful. The classes are very structured, not a free-for-all, which for this age seems to be important, even though I highly favor the non-traditional Montessori model & plan to enroll my son into Montessori kindergarten. Because of his experience at Toddler's Academy I feel that he is now ready for that. I toured all of the Pre-K locations that I was able to choose from through Durham Pre-K. Many of them I excluded because of the state of the facilities. Toddler's Academy was in my top two, not only for the shaded playgrounds & classroom atmosphere but especially for the Pre-K instructor. I'm very happy that we were able to keep my son there for a few months in the 3-4 yr class and then the full school year for pre-K.
