Toddle

We love this school so much! My son spent two years at Toddle and my daughter is currently enrolled in her first year. We can't say enough about this wonderful school. The dedicated staff, positive learning environment, warmth, and welcoming community are amazing. Special acknowledgement to Teacher Maria, who makes a real connection with each student and gets to know them so well as individuals. She is so experienced and has great insight into making learning fun and fostering a love of learning in young kids. The small student:teacher ratio means that young kids receive a lot of support in their introduction to a school environment, potty training and nap transitions, and navigating personal and social development. My son was very well-prepared for TK after his time at Toddle. He still talks about his Toddle projects and things he learned -- from cubism and Jackson Pollock-style art, to his papier-mâché volcano, to the cardboard model of Menlo Park and surrounding towns that nearly filled a classroom, to the dwarf planets in the Kuiper Belt. This year the students have been exploring the human body, and my daughter delights in sharing what she's learned about platelets helping to heal cuts, white blood cells fighting germs, the color changes of a bruise, the benefits of nose hairs, and what a heart sounds like when using a stethoscope. Our kids felt loved and were excited to go to school. What more could you ask for? I wish I could be 3 again so I could be a student here. Strongly recommend to any families looking for an amazing preschool.

As a parent of two children who both attended Toddle, I can’t recommend it highly enough. From day one, we felt genuinely welcomed and supported, not just as parents, but as part of a real community. The student to staff ratio is excellent, and the level of care and attention each child receives is outstanding. The enquiry based learning approach encourages curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking, and it was wonderful to see our daughters thrive in such a thoughtful environment. Toddle is more than a preschool. It becomes a support network and a place where lasting relationships are formed. A special mention to Maria, who is incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional at what she does. Our girls adored her, and we trusted her completely. We will always be grateful for the foundation Toddle gave our children and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family.

My wife and I booked a tour, took a half day off work to make it. When we arrived we were shocked to learn that they had double booked that time and their excuse was that we didnt have an online test result (we had our paper copy of the test with us). They didnt bother to communicate with us on the email thread that we had to avoid wasting our whole day. The personel were very unprofessional and not welcoming. This was nowhere near the nice experience in the other preschools we toured and probably explains why this place is not popular. On a side note, the location is basically a small house with little room for children to play.

Enrolled our 3.5 year old son in the school program and we have been very pleased. He looks forward to going to school. The curriculum, teachers, facility, events and activities have all been exceptional. It would be difficult to find a better place for kids this age in Menlo Park.
