I lived here for a couple years before I had to relocate for work. If it wasn’t for my new job, I would have loved to stay! I still miss it- the tranquility, quiet community, friendly staff, and just overall quality and care involved: all of these things rare to find in a rental community nowadays.
I’ve lived here twice! I came back because I really love the property, staff and community. I’ve been here collectively about 25 years and do not plan to leave. I find the location in Baltimore to be very handy to downtown and county. The staff are professional and skilled. Over the years I have seen many instances of “over and above” in terms of dealing with residents and maintenance issues. I feel I am in good hands. There is a community feel here, with residents helping one another in a wide variety of ways. It is home in every sense of the word.
I lived in Ivymount for four years and had a wonderful experience! It was peaceful and all the trees made it seem miles away from the city. I did have some problems with cell service due to all the trees, however, enabling WIFI calling helped with the issue. The management staff are nice and personable. They take extra care to ensure the landscaping is beautiful and that maintenance requests are responded to promptly. I highly recommend Ivymount!

I’ve been living here for almost two years and overall I enjoy my experience here, which is why I’ve stayed. Due to the fact that it is in a highly wooded area, the cell service might be problematic, however since I started using WiFi calling, this has never been an issue, I assume a lot of people there use this. The management has a smaller company and personal feel and I appreciate the theme and change from many apartments that are owned by extremely large organisations. I find my apartment to be awesome and I like the staff, And I also enjoy the general ground, which is widely used as a route to walk and exercise by people, residents or otherwise. Obviously sometimes there are issues such as needing to do maintenance on a building or a misbehaving appliance but the staff has never failed to resolve any issue I brought to their attention.
