What Parents Say
Thursday's Child receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with most parents praising the professional and caring staff, particularly for developmental progress in speech and social skills. One parent expressed concerns about communication, lack of parental access to the facility, and an incident involving an injury that was not documented.
This school is excellent and the teachers are super professional and loving. Especially Michelle and Louise were very loving and helped him . My son joined Thursday’s child when he was 19 mos old. He learned animals sounds and improved his eye contact.Since March 2020, my son has been doing telehealth with them due to pandemic. They also educate me and teach how to help my son. He has been improved significantly for his speech, play and direction. I highly recommend this school. All the staff and the director makes you feel very comfortable. I’m very grateful I found this place for my son Xander.
Amazing school great staff. My son loves his teacher he's awesome. His teacher is very caring and patient with my son. Progress has been great. Definitely recommended 👌
I put my child into Thursdays child program in October of 2023 until late November 2023. They had raving reviews. The facility is clean, the staff is nice. However I just was not happy with the way the center works. All of the RBT’s are teenagers who probably get paid minimum wage. You’re not allowed inside the facility for anything, not even pick up or drop off- you literally have to wait outside. There was a lack of communication that I wasn’t happy with. Everyday I would have to ask 100 questions just to know what my child did that day, then I was told I shouldn’t do this and I should call the lead teacher if I had questions lol. I think there neees to be better communication and involvement with the parents, parents shouldn’t have to force themselves to have info.. I was the one calling once a week for an update on my son.. he’s only 2.. this was very new for him and I just felt very disconnected. Also I had an incident where my child came back home with a huge scratch on his stomach and by his private area. When I told them about what I found they said no one knew about any scratches and they couldn’t file a report because too much time had passed… it was the weekend. Also my son got sick 3x in the matter of a month- including hand foot in mouth. So, while the facility was clean, the staff was nice, it wasn’t the right fit for us. Maybe it will be for you.
I absolutely love the school my daughter stayed there for a year. I see a big difference on my baby now she started Thursday's child a year ago.
Great teachers they work so well with you, I love them
