We are so grateful for Ms. Wanda and the management team. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care shine through in everything they do. They truly know the children—each personality, each need—and always put the kids first. What makes this place special is how deeply they listen to parents and how thoughtfully they adjust when needed. The amount of effort, heart, and intention they put into their work does not go unnoticed. Before coming here, our daughter was often dirty at pickup and got sick quite frequently. Since being here, that has completely changed. She is well cared for, clean, and healthier—and that peace of mind means everything to us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’m going to be honest, I read the reviews about this place and was iffy because of all the mixed reviews. However, my daughter has been attending TYA for almost a month now. I am a first time mom and very picky when it comes to my daughter. TYA has made my experience top tier. As soon as I walk in with my daughter miss D is there to greet us with a smile and a good laugh. HUGE shoutout to my daughters teachers Maliani and Carmen . They have made this transition for us super easy. They’re very attentive with my daughter. They truly treat her like their own. She loves going to daycare and warmed up to them fairly quickly and she does not do that with just anyone. Shoutout to miss Wanda who also works the front desk in the afternoon and is just wonderful . TYA staff has been amazing to us and I recommend it to everyone. If you’ve been having mixed emotions about this place I hope this review changes your mind.

Very very high turnover rate since my child has been there its been 4 different teachers… they just hire anybody off the street even heard about a teacher putting their hands on a child in the classroom but they covered it up before it could be spoken on (I remember the teacher by face) also seems as if they play all day instead of learning they care more about the money than a learning environment for kids yeah, the coloring sheets that the kids do during the day are cute and all when sent Home, but you can tell the learning gap from youth Academy, to other daycares around the city Big time they won’t notify you that your child had a injury until you notice it then will want to write a injury report the next day

As a very particular (okay, let’s be honest — extra!) parent, I can confidently say I highly recommend this daycare. My daughter just started attending at 3 months old, and even after just one week, the front staff already greets us by name with genuine warmth and care. That level of attention and consistency means the world to me. What really impressed me is how thoughtful and inclusive they are with activities — they even have water days for all age groups, including the infants! It's clear they go the extra mile to make every child feel engaged and included, no matter how small. The center is also very secure, which gives us so much peace of mind. As new parents, leaving our baby in someone else’s care wasn’t easy — but they’ve made the transition incredibly smooth. We truly feel like our daughter is in loving, capable hands. The only thing I wish they had is an app or online portal where they could upload photos and little updates about her day — like other daycares I’ve seen in the area. It’s such a nice touch for parents who miss their little ones while at work. But even without that, the care and attention they provide absolutely shine through. If you're looking for a daycare that treats your child like family and pays attention to the little details, this is the place.

TYA (The Youth Academy) industrial blvd is our home!! We moved to the area a year ago, and I was frantically looking for childcare while pregnant for newborn babygirl and our now 6yr old son. The fact that they provided care for both made life sooooooooo much easier.... My daughter is in infant/toddler building an sometimes cries when we leave TYA at pickup like she wants to go back and gets excited when we walk in the building every morning an gets greeted by one of her besties Ms. Brandy. She is like a breath of fresh air in the morning when she greets you. When my daughter she sees her teachers in the morning, it's like she almost jumps out of my arms to get to Mrs. Nyya & Ms. Azariah turns back and looks at me like you can go now mom they got me....lol. It almost made me feel some type of way at first, like she loved them more than me, but my husband told me to get out of my feelings and be glad she likes it there..lol We are in the process of transitioning to a new class age wise and Ms. Naomi & Ms. Gabby is really making the process much easier on baby and mom in welcoming us to our new class as well. My son attends school ager building for summer camp and before an aftercare during school year, and when I say they wear them out, they wear them out he is sleep sometimes before we leave the parking lot. They don't just throw them in a gym area an let them run around all day like other places they actually swim EVERYDAY (weather permitting) they go on field trips, and they also do activities with the kids each day as well. He comes home with all types of arts and crafts an stories to tell. They also provide shuttle to and from his school during school year, and with it being our 1st school year last year, my biggest fear was him being left at school by accident. It's definitely not gonna happen at TYA. His dad has actually picked him up early from school a few times and I forgot to let TYA know he wouldn't be riding for aftercare and they called like clock work to make sure he was not supposed to be comming back so what ever process they have works because for them no child left behind. Ms. Wendy and both our Ms. Chelsea's and all the other lovely ladies in this building make our little man feel right at home. The new building that was built was even more convenient to home. Price wise it's costly, but having kids period is costly an let's be honest prices are pricing everywhere these days. Overall, we like this place, and it's definitely a good fit for us thus far, and I just hope an pray we have amazing teachers all the way to the end !!
