We feel so happy that our children get to attend the Young Scholars. We know that as we work to provide for our family, our kids are safe, respected, and loved by their teachers. Both our kids love going to school and look forward to enjoying their days. Their attitude towards going in every day says it all. They have a phenomenal program and the way they encourage the students’ emotional and academic growth is outstanding. We’ve been with Young Scholars for almost a year now, and it has been nothing but a wonderful experience. We truly love their creative curriculum that keeps our children engaged every day. The summer program was especially amazing — full of fun field trips, special visitors, and science experiments. What we appreciate most is their open communication. They don’t just share the good moments but also keep us informed about the challenges, and that means a lot to us as parents. As a multilingual family, we were deeply touched when our daughter’s teacher, Ms. Caitlin, learned a few words in our child’s native language. That small gesture made our little one feel seen and understood — and it showed us how inclusive and caring this community truly is. We’re so grateful for the warmth, patience, and kindness of everyone at Young Scholars. We have been with young scholars for almost 4 years now and we are in love. The staff is attentive and team closely with families to support the growth for all children. Young scholars did such a great job preparing and setting my child up for success as she transitioned to preschool. It is already difficult to leave your child in the hands of others, but the Young Scholars staff have gone above and beyond earning my trust in taking care of my children. I cannot say enough positive things about Young Scholars in Island Lake! As a parent of three toddlers, finding a place that not only cares for but genuinely nurtures and supports each of my children has been life-changing.
