The Willow School

The Willow School has been an amazing experience in the two years my daughter has been there. The entire staff is always outgoing, charming and engaged. They know and care about my daughter and family and it shows. Whenever I arrive, either in the morning or evening, they are warm and welcoming. For those coming from slightly further away, don't let the Norristown zip code scare you away. The area is very safe with the Montgomery County Sheriff and other offices right next door. I'm very thankful we have ready access to the Willow School and recommend them highly.

PLEASE COME AND SEE HOW GREAT THE WILLOW SCHOOL IS FOR YOURSELF! DO NOT LET @Amy Hylenski CLOUD YOUR VISION!!! I am surpirsed that @Amy Hylenski had such a negative experience with the Willow School. My family has had nothing but positive experiences with the school. My granddaughter first attended there over 6 years ago as an infant and only left when the government closed everything because of Covid and she is now in regular school. All of her teachers were extremely nurturing and genuinely cared about their students...I could tell this by how any time I came to drop my granddaughter off or pick her up, there were always kids hanging all over the teacher....kids don't do that to people that they don't like! Three years ago I was fortunate enough to grow my family again and enrolled my then 18 month old and 6 year old stepsons into The Willow School. They were attending another facility in Norristown, but there was NO way that I wouldn't have INSISTED that their mother attempt to get them into the Willow School. They have flourished there! Our school-age son was even fortunate enough to be able to attend there full time during the 2020-2021 school year, which allowed us to work and know that he was safe and being cared for while attending his regular elementary school virtually. My youngest son, who just turned two, has been a student there since he was an infant and absolutely LOVES it...he knows EVERYONE there by name and asks to go to school each time we walk or drive near the building! AGAIN, children don't behave like this when they do not feel safe and loved!! I know that @Amy Hylenski mentioned that her son is on the spectrum; so is my granddaughter...the same granddaughter that attended The Willow School. What @Amy Hylenski posted IS NOT TRUE! My granddaughter was NEVER left behind when her class went on walks or trips and her behavioral specialist even used to go with them. Now unless @Amy Hylenski had her son there before my time, I can't imagine this being her experience. Due to my daughter's line of work, I was the one who she made her proxy so I got to attend any meetings with my granddaughter's teachers and/or therapists (she had one for speech, OT and special instruction) and the school was ALWAYS very accommodating and welcoming. The Willow School is truly that proverbial flower growing from the concrete; come and experience it for yourself!!!!!!

Took my son here for a little bit did not like it. First off my sons autistic. If the class went for a walk my son stayed behind. I picked him up after school one day and he was strapped in the chair. The ratio kids to teachers were probably illegal. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

I love it here, no complaints. The staff is very professional, it’s a good environment for the children, the staff and the parents.
