Loving church. Missed the worship here. Hannibal the head pastor is down to earth and full of compassion. Does this preaching style hit some people in the eye…Probably. Knowing God is hard until you stop judging and start caring. God has already done the work. Stop separating yourself and bask in his love and forgiveness.

Wonderful church, loving people and standing on the principals of the Bible. All the pastors are such good teachers. I am a shut in and it’s my husband and my choice of in-line churches. They also have wonderful programs for adults and kids during the week.

Nice people for the most part, music ministry is very entertaining & uplifting. Didn't always agree with theologies being taught, however, this is a common theme amongst various Christian teachings. Otherwise, a pretty typical non-denominational protestant mega church. Major issues encountered were: - Lack of meaningful personal interaction & engagement with people. I'm a very engaging and social person, definitely did my part in earnest with this area. This is an overwhelming larger social problem, evident with & recognized by & in most churches. - Over reliance on technology & production, web based platforms, email communication etc. There were many problems we experienced related to these with getting registered with the church, which took multiple trips to the help desk over 3 months time to get this accomplished finally. Other problems with inaccuracies with accounting giving statements. Service time spent in the Production ministry became impersonal & riddled with miscommunications & misunderstandings. Over reliance on and excessive time spent communicating in texts and email. - Ineffective connections ministry. Registered for Life Group and was never assigned to one. Communicated with the person running the Life Group by email and the program director in person on several occasions. Nothing ever happened. On an earlier occasion, was encourage by an associate pastor to volunteer in the youth ministry because of my 12 yrs direct career work experience serving youth & an additional 22 years with elderly & general public in medical. The lead pastor of that ministry requested to meet me in person, which I did. He unfortunately presented as disingenuous, smug, controlling & aloof. 2 days later he texted me that "he didn't think it was a good fit" & nothing else. - There is an uncanny non-Catholic sentiment & culture among many staff and members here. As well as a well represented intent to expedite people from leaving the Catholic church. In one of the Alpha groups I attended the leaders made these clear in their teaching & leading. Same at time with some of the pastors I listened to & interacted with. A very non-biblical approach to the church Jesus established, blessed & prayed to the Father for unity & promised the gates of hell shall not prevail against. I believe people have a right to worship in personal ways as well as an obligation to practice & promote unity. These particular area gets into much deeper topics and area of faith development & challenges God has placed in our lives. We are commissioned to love, and this is the priority over all else and, of all, which we are to be known by to others. - The groups offered seemed bent only to certain select & limited categories & types, & non-inclusive of other equally important group categories. There is also a very distinct gender & age segregation and ageism components. Like much of society, there is a lack of awareness and concern with, as well as open acceptance and participation with this. Particularly predominant amongst contemporary Christian churches, thatvare called to be set apart. The single ministry here was entirely defunct the 2 years we attended. The youth ministry was not particularly welcoming or appealing in the opinions of our 2 teenagers. -Lastly, I felt led & reached out by email & in person on numerous occasions, very appropriately, in a spirit of compassion & service. I truly had hoped on those occasions to have been better received, heard & experienced some sort of meaningful results. Wrote this review today in this same light.
