We have loved this day care! Our daughter went through all 4 years at the center and every class was fantastic. The teachers, helpers and front desk staff are all friendly, smart and reliable - I always felt like our baby was in the best hands. She’s made the sweetest friends and was always so happy to go to day care! Playground is also huge, they have a swimming pool, and offer sign up for lessons like gymnastics and soccer. This made my life easier as I didn’t have to take my own time to get her to lessons. We will miss this center SO MUCH. They really prepared our girl for elementary school!
I am impressed by my child's progress over the couple of years. The office staff has been instrumental in supporting my family since our initial introduction to the school. Most staff members have facilitated a seamless transition, fostering a positive environment. They dedicate time to teaching and guiding children in achieving their milestones. Overall, this institution provides an ideal setting for children to thrive among like-minded peers.
The teachers are wonderful, and there is a big outdoor space which is great, and when we first started attending this school I couldn't say enough good things about it under the leadership at that time. However. The current leadership is unfortunate, inexperienced, and unprofessional. The Director and Assistant Directors were unsupportive of my family directly and were very manipulative and two-faced in how they handled the situation with us personally. They threw other staff under the bus when confronted about mishandling the situation. I have since heard stories that are of concern about how they are conducting things that seem to only reiterate poor leadership and compelled me to write this review. I don't trust the current leadership, the high tuition rate that they keep raising, the consistent billing issues, the lack of support for the teachers and any students that aren't following "marching orders". They don't want to be bothered with handling kids who need more care or support.
We have had two children attend The Village Child Development Center, and plan to have our youngest child attend when she is older, because of the wonderful experiences we had there. Our children were genuinely cared for and loved by the teachers and staff at The Village. I felt our children gained a great deal of learning opportunities that prepared them for the next step in their academic career. The qualified teachers and staff at The Village were friendly and most importantly loving with our children, and it showed with the interactions we witnessed between the teachers and children. We would recommend The Village to anyone looking for a high quality, safe and caring child development center.
My second child just completed the toddler through Pre-K program at the Village and like his older sister he's now thriving in a private school. We credit the knowledgeable staff at the Village for their dedication to ensuring each child is ready to enter Kindergarten while providing a fun atmosphere. During both of their four years at The Village they were greeted every morning by the friendly staff who provided a safe and nurturing environment. I always knew it was a good sign that upon pick up he never wanted to leave, always having too much fun. Thank you to the staff for all the wonderful years we had with you.
