What Parents Say
The Trike Stop Infant Home in Edmonds receives consistently high praise from parents, with all 10 reviews rating it 5/5 stars. Parents highlight the clean, well-maintained facility, caring and educated staff, strong leadership, and engaging curriculum that promotes learning and child development.
We enrolled our daughter when she was 1 after a more challenging transition to the 1s room elsewhere, and it was one of the best decision we made for her! The owners are kind and supportive and have created an environment that feels like family. Our daughter has outstanding teachers and is engaged in dancing, art, music, play and much more. She comes home happy and having clearly grown as a person. I personally appreciate if we had a tough drop-off that the teachers share when she’s calmed down and usually send a photo of her happy and content. Makes me feel at ease throughout the day! We love the other Trike families as well, and couldn’t be happier as a part of this school! We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
My daughter has gone to The Trike Stop for 3 years. She loves school, and has developed a true love for learning. She has made meaningful connections with her peers and her teachers. Her teachers have all been highly educated, and created incredible learning through play experiences. Autumn, the owner, has put so much thought and love into her school. She has worked hard to create a local childcare center that has grown to match the childcare demand of the Edmonds area. Autumn also values her teachers, treats them as the professionals they should be seen as, and works hard to set them up for success in their classroom. As a childcare provider myself for almost 20 years, The Trike Stop isn't only a place where families would want to bring their children, but also a place where teachers and ECE professionals would want to carry out their careers. I feel so fortunate to be apart of this wonderful Edmonds business.
Unfortunately, my experience with this daycare has been extremely disappointing. While it is one of the most expensive options in the area, the quality of care and transparency do not reflect the high cost. I was repeatedly given vague or evasive answers when asking where the tuition money was going, and there is little to show for the premium pricing in terms of resources, staffing, or programming. Even more concerning, there was a serious safety issue when pills were found in my child’s classroom—a completely unacceptable situation in any environment, let alone one responsible for the care of young children. When I brought it to the owner’s attention, the incident was brushed off without any clear explanation, accountability, or assurance that changes would be made to prevent it from happening again. Additionally, children are not consistently placed in age-appropriate classrooms, which raises both developmental and supervision concerns. As a parent, it’s incredibly frustrating to feel that your child’s well-being isn’t being prioritized. I don’t write this lightly, but I strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions, request documentation, and observe closely before enrolling their child here. Your child’s safety and development deserve better.
The Trike Stop is the nicest and cleanest daycare facility I’ve ever seen, hands down. They take great pride in providing healthy meals for the children, as well as keeping the facility clean and well maintained. My daughter went there on a drop in basis last year around this time for one day a week for only a 6 week period, but as a SAHM who almost never leaves her kids with anyone, The Trike Stop is the only place I trust completely. The staff was so amazing, welcoming, and so accommodating. I also helped them get the new facility ready as a volunteer about 3 years ago and I can tell you for certain that the owners take safety, health, learning, and cleanliness very very seriously. They also treat their staff better than any business I know of personally. They are constantly appreciating and celebrating their staff. I highly recommend The Trike Stop to anyone and everyone. They are such a great family owned business who works very hard to run and maintain a quality childcare facility.
My daughter attended at The Trike Stop for Kindergarten Readiness preschool and daycare for about 10 months. When my girl was ready to enter K in our local public school, it was so hard for me to leave The Trike Stop. The owner, Autumn, director Arielle, and staff were/are fabulous! Even though it is a relatively large preschool/daycare, I always felt my girl was being taken care of so well and so personally. Also, really valued their menu, in-house food service, and the way food was served in the classrooms. Very nice!
