Wonderful place, all these chic francophone ladies. There's only one problem: it's supposed to be French, and that didn't happen at all. The second year, my daughter stared at me, uncomprehending, when I tried counting in French or speaking to her in French. My French may not be perfect, but it is serviceable and recognizably French. All the French happens when the parents are around, then they revert to English. It's beyond frustrating, the staff are all native speakers, all they'd have to do is just speak French, in their beautiful accents, and the kids would pick it up. My daughter did make a friend, whom she still has, years later Aside from that, it's fine, mais, pas de Français.

I have sent my daughter to the Teddy Bear Club from the time she turned 1y11months. She absolutely loved it - now nearly 4 years old, and her French is perfect. More importantly, children learn to respect each other, there is a wonderful atmosphere at the school, all children get along really well and my daughter learned to be extremely polite and considerate of others. Considering her young age, I am not sure how the Teddy Bear Club managed to do that, but it's impressive. What my daughter learned is particularly important as she is now able to make friends and be happy wherever she goes, she knows to be kind, to listen and respect others. The best place for children, French or no French! (I can't wait for my son to go next year for his first Teddy Bear year!).

My wife and I have had three kids at the Teddy Bear Club. It's fantastic in every way. (1) It's a safe, clean, loving environment. (2) The school strikes the right balance between "study/work" and play. (3) Your child receives one-on-one attention. Last but not least, the school conducts itself in a professional -- even elegant -- yet down-to-earth manner. I can't recommend it highly enough. Perhaps the one drawback is the price. Not everyone can afford it, but we found it worth every penny.

The Teddy Bear Club is by far one of the best experience of my child's life. The staff is so caring which was really important to me. They pay close attention to your childs' needs and adjust accordingly. Laura is involved in all aspects of your child's learning process. She is out to greet you and always has such positive thing to say. The teachers (including Monica) are so helpful. Our daughter is a bit shy and they really encouraged her to come out of her shell but teaching her real world techniques that will benefit her for years to come. I cannot comment more on their kindness as it is so important to my husband and me that this be reinforced in a time where this doesn't seem to be important. Please note that it a great academic place as well. You will be surprised as to how much your child learns but their love of school only comes from the caring teachers and staff. It is a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Do this for your child and you will be forever grateful.

We have sent all three of our kids to the Teddy Bear Club - and all of our kids have had a great experience. The school is small enough to have plenty of one-on-one attention, but has enough students to provide great diversity and fun experiences. The teachers are also wonderful and caring - always available for individual discussions as needed and very responsive to any of our questions. Merci beaucoup Teddy Bear Club!
