The Suzuki School At Ponce City Market

Highly recommend. Suzuki is one of the best daycare options in Atlanta! We started in infants then our son moved up to Toddlers and the Pre-Primary classroom. We had a great experience at all levels. His teachers were well-trained and communicated well. The administration was also responsive to our questions and inquiries, and we felt our son was well cared for! Thank you, Suzuki!

The quality of this school has steadily gone down in the last two years. Enrollment used to be competitive, but now they have to offer referral incentives. In my opinion, it is not worth the elevated tuition that they charge (plus enrichment fees, plus Christmas bonus fundraisers, plus other fundraisers). Staff turnover is very high and now it seems that they are accepting students with behavioral challenges they are not equipped to deal with. My daughter and many of her classmates have been repeatedly assaulted by another student for months now. I have engaged the administration numerous times, but nothing changes and the problems persist. I'm worried that enrollment is so low they can't afford to even lose a single student. There are individual teachers that have been great and the Montessori model is certainly effective.

Doesn't live up to the reputation. They're very disorganized in communications and keep parents and teachers at length (you can't drop your kid off at the classroom and teachers rarely interact with the parents in person). Most importantly, we had a safety concern with the school and found their explanation completely unacceptable. Since they've been bought by private equity maybe there will be changes but I'm not optimistic. There are some very kind and wonderful teachers / coach there but overall I would highly recommend against Suzuki.
