This place with the new director and assistant director Tara and Kelly have really worked hard to get this center together. Loving place ! Teachers are very lovable and communicate with parents efficiently. Always feel like home coming into the sunshine house and the kids love going here and they never want to leave!
Loving teachers and administrative staff. High quality performance and communication out to parents. Ms. Salena / Ms. Tee / Ms. Ines are amazing. The only downside is what the great majority of what preschools/daycares are struggling with - it's staffing. That said - we've never had an issue caused by staffing that has delayed our ability to receive communication. We've never had issues in whether or not our son received the attention and care that he needed. It has never felt like our son was in an inappropriate setting or that he was in the wrong room / age group based upon staffing. They do their best they can with the resources that they have available to make it a seamless experience. Everything has felt like it has a strong personal touch from day one. Time was taken to ensure that we felt that our son is safe on the front end and they've done a great job to ensure that this feeling has remained consistent for the almost full year that our son has been enrolled. We're looking forward to enrolling our daughter when the time comes as well. Go Sunshine House Mint Hill!
We have had our son at the Sunshine House in Mint Hill since he was six months old. It was a difficult decision placing our infant in the care of someone outside our family, but in retrospect, it was a really good decision for our family. Our son has flourished in socialization, communication, and learning! He loves his teachers at this location and looks forward to going to ‘school.’ The facility administration has always been approachable and informative to me and my husband. I truly feel that the staff know and understand that our son is “their son” while he is at Sunshine House. The price is just right for our child care needs and we are fortunate to have had great experiences since our first registration in Fall 2016.
