The Sunshine House

I’ve only been bringing my son here for over a month now and we love it. It was a hard time for him to adjust but now he’s constantly asking to see his friends. I love how the director Ms. Tae is very helpful and communicative as well as the assistant director Ms. Jamanda. The teachers are nice and take care of the kids as they should. I love the app and how they send updates with pictures and comments throughout the day, you can also peep in and spy on your kid without them seeing you just to make sure they’re okay and having a good day. Overall good experience for our first school.

I absolutely love this Center and it's staff members. My kids have been attending this center for 5 years. My oldest is now thriving in Kindergarten thanks to this place. We are treated like family here and I will be sad when both my children will no longer be able to come. I would like to take this opportunity to tell those out there with concerns and fears that this place is the absolutely best. I can go to work in peace and not worry about my children here.

The fact that I had to call the police today on this daycare The Sunshine House on W Friendly Ave is ridiculous! My kids had only been going here for 3 weeks. They started on July 16th. There have been THREE incidents of injuries to my daughter. On July 19th the 1st incident occurred. When I arrived to pick up my daughter her teacher told me that my daughter was playing with a toy & the other child took it from her & when my daughter tried to get the toy back the little girl scratched her in the face. I did NOT receive an incident report & Not once did I ever receive a courtesy call right when the incident happened. The 2nd incident on July 22nd I was informed again at pick up that the same little girl scratched my daughter again on the face as well as the back of the neck. They gave me an incident report to sign. I asked to see video footage they told me I had to wait. The 3rd incident occurred yesterday August 5th when I picked my daughter up her teacher told me that another child bit her on the back of her arm. I was told I could not receive an incident report until the following morning because the Director had already gone home for the day. When I showed up this morning at 8:08 am to receive the incident report & speak to the director. I was told that she would print the report when she arrived & that she would be arriving between 8:10-9:00 am. I waited & she arrived at 9:36 am after I had already called the police because while I was waiting I was having a conversation with another parent & they tried to tell me that I had to leave for harassment. After the police arrived they magically were able to print the incident report that I had been waiting an hour & 30 minutes for. I believe since my daughter was new she was getting bullied by the other kids & the teachers & Director did NOTHING about it. If the children were being properly supervised these situations could have been prevented. They kept making excuses for why it was repeatedly happening. Which is UNACCEPTABLE. Today was their last day. I have filed a complaint with the State to open an investigation & I am waiting for the Regional Manager to contact me since they would not give me the phone number to call myself.

I absolutely LOVE this school!!! My oldest has been apart of the Sunshine House since 2010 and phased out and my youngest is currently attending. The staff here are very loving and nurturing. It makes my life a whole lot easier to do my job, knowing that my child is being well taken care of. Thanks center 32, we love you!!! Keda, Jaden, and Heiress

I love the new director and assistant director ! My child has been coming here for 2 years and the place has never been more organized. They are so hands on and I can tell they love what they do . My child is learning so much at this school.
