The Second House Corp

Both of my kids have been coming to this center since they were small. My son is currently 6 and has had a handful of amazing teachers that have really made a difference in him. Right now he is currently with Ms. Jennie, I cannot express how great of a teacher she is. She is very kind, and very patient. My son is reading full on sentences, doing independent math, learning how to regulate his emotions better, his writing and coloring skills have gotten so much better. I see he is very engaged and always has something good to say about Ms. Jennie. As a parent nothing is more important than knowing my kids are in good hands. And with my eyes closed, I will say that both my kids are loved and are cared for very well. Ms. Barbie is also another teacher that cares deeply and will go above and beyond for her students. My daughter is currently in VPK, I see that she has learned so much, she has become more independent and her vocabulary has grown over the years. Ms, Helena has also done a good job with her. If you have the chance to choose to leave your kids here or go to public school, please take the chance and leave them here for VPK & Kindergarten. Ms. Jennie as a Kindergarten teacher and Ms. Helena as a VPK teacher will help your kids excel.

My review is solely based on my kids Kindergarten teacher Jennifer Montalvan, she is someone that really loves what she does. She pours her heart into her kids and her class. She is a great communicator and the only reason I had both my kids there for Kindergarten. I think they need more work on finding the right teachers for other grade levels & getting equipped with the right tools. Having the right teacher & equipment to guide them to what is to come is key and Ms. Jennie did just that. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the others. He stayed through second just so my daughter could be with Ms. Jennie and though it was great for my daughter it was a poor experience for him. The staff tried to make it right but the teachers never fit the part. (After leaving I can see how having my son stay there for first and second grade hindered his learning experience.) If you need someone to pave the way she is the right one, she teaches, helps and CARES!

My daughters recently graduated from this school where I had a wonderful and exciting experience. I have always been very happy to have found this school for my girls' education, because of the affectionate treatment we have always received, the dedication with which the teachers work, the cleanliness of the center, and the hot meals every day. There are no words to recognize all the effort and dedication of all the staff. A thousand thanks to the girls in the office who always helped me when I needed it.

I had the blessed experience of having Teacher Helena as my daughters teacher. She was patient, kind, and knew exactly what to teach my daughter and in the most engaging way possible. She truly prepares her VPK students to bigger and better things once they graduate. Recommend her class and the staff is friendly

My son has been here since he was 1 and I have never had a problem. My son has learned so much thanks to the teachers and day care. Very clean and healthy environment! I highly recommend to everyone!
