What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed with significant concerns raised about Summer Camp staff conduct. Most positive reviews praise the facility's helpful atmosphere and staff kindness, but a detailed complaint describes inappropriate staff behavior including yelling at children and physical handling. Parent follow-up action was planned to address safety concerns.
Always a friendly and helpful atmosphere. My mother use to shop here and I always feel her presence here. Great prices plus the 50% Off Sale. Love shopping here.
The Salvation Army does such wonderful work in the Pasco County community. We were happy to volunteer to ring the bell, and it warmed our heart to see how many people were in the spirit of giving this year. I will definitely sign up for a shift in the future. It was fun seeing everyone give, and some stopping to have a short conversation with us. If you have a few hours to spare think about reaching out to the Salvation Army to volunteer your time.
1st week of camp...GREAT! 2nd week and already true colors are showing regarding the staff... especially the staff member Melissa, whom consistently yells at all of the children & tells them all to SHUT UP, glares at them, my children have witnessed staff grabbing other younger children's arms and dragging them across the gym floor to place their body where they see fit... I have spoken with the director Mr.Scott whom seems oblivious to what's going on in Summer Camp. I've spoken to him out of concern for others children as well my concerns for my own, as a concerned parent would do. Honestly, out of all the staff there in Summer Camp, Mrs. Kathy is the only person that treats parents and children with respect. Understand that follow up will be filed to ensure safety of not just my children but others as well. I'm very disappointed.
So upon inquiry I was notified that they do not have homeless shelters here in Pasco county. Being a person who supports and tries to promote as best as possible agencies that offer a helping hand was quite disappointed. I see hundreds of people homeless in this county and they so eloquently upon asking saying that they do not and I quote I'm sorry but Pasco county does not help homeless with homes. They need to go to the neighboring counties. I hope you feel well about yourself Pasco county and I hope that this means to whatever ends you so desire smack you dead in the face on Federal statutes at some point in time be well
Prices on used items are higher than retail at Walmart. Used can opener for $13.00. Really??? Used dirty task chair $49.99. Same item new at Walmart for $39.99 NEW! Unbelievable. Whomever is in charge of pricing there needs to step away from the crack pipe. Ridiculous.
