An amazing place for kids to spend the summer! The connections they build with other campers and staff are meaningful and lasting, and the growth we see in kids year after year is truly inspiring. We also booked a team building session here for our local high school softball team, it was a great time and the team walked away mentally and physically stronger. The staff challenged us to think outside the box and see from a different lens rather than our own. I can’t recommend YMCA Camp Hiawatha enough! From summer camp to group retreats, it’s a place filled with growth, encouragement, and people who truly care about you.

This was the first summer my kids (son 8 and daughter 14) have attended Camp Hiawatha. I regret not sending them sooner, especially my daughter. She has had a rough couple years, being a teenage girl.... the staff at Hiawatha have really helped her blossom and have really taken her under their wings and showed her grace and understanding when she has made mistakes and have praised and encouraged her to continue growing into the best version of herself. The staff here really take the time to get to know their campers and my children talk about the counselors and other staff all the time. I am so grateful to Camp Hiawatha for providing a safe and fun environment for my kids to spend their summers. I don't have any worry at all leaving the most precious things in my life with them.

We just had our 2nd Berlin Family Reunion at Hiawatha and are planning our 3rd there now. Could not be happier with Andy and his staff. The new pool was a huge hit this Summer, not only with the kids but with adults too. Their level of service is beyond our expectations and the activities there are endless. We also really appreciate the cleanliness of everything. See you again soon!

It is a nice camping area. Cabins are clean, staff is very friendly. I was very happy to stay 3 days with our students. Pool is also vas very clean. Leadership activities were great. Students did not only do activities. They shared their experiences each other. Camp staff were having discussions with students about what they have learned after the activity. So I recommend this place to everyone, especially schools that they want to take students to a leadership camp. I forgot to add something about food. It was fabulous.

I've been coming to this camp for 2 years now. Love the facilities. The big pool with a dumping bucket, and giant water slide are my favorite. When groups are not swimming, there is a climbing tower with a zipline. I guess my favorite thing about Camp Hiawatha is it's a great place for children to play in the grass 24/7 without a screen in their face all day ;) Apart from the activities, the relationships / connections are my utmost favorite. This is a place where I feel seen/heard. I LOVE CAMP HIAWATHA :)
