--- I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for Ms. JJ, who went out of her way to help me yesterday at the Salvation Army. She was incredibly kind, generous, and genuinely caring, and her positive attitude made the experience so much better. It’s rare to encounter someone who approaches their work with such warmth and compassion, and I truly value having staff like her in an organization that is committed to making a real difference in people’s lives. Ms. JJ exemplifies what it means to serve clients with dignity and respect—those who truly need support. People like her don’t just help individuals; they uplift the entire community. Her generosity, professionalism, and kindness are inspiring, and we need more people like her in our society. I am deeply grateful for her help and the difference she makes every day.
What a completely amazing day. This was a blessing to experience my son, & my first Encore Musical. Such talented children. My son played in the Colorado Springs Corps Praise Team. So satisfying to witness all that I did.
I went over multiple times to the salvation Army to give them the tree gifts for a child. They would not open it answer the door. I don't think there was any caring or compassion from this run Quari location. They seemed to be very annoyed by there customers. Days later I had a niece that really needed some help. She was a mom with six children. I cane clbsck there again to ask for help. 2 women who worked there stood in the lobby chatting as though after 10:16 am they seemed to ignore me when I knocked on the door to ask them if I can get my neices's children done help for food or even toys. A women told me that they don't have any toys and that that should have been placed in October and the food should was only going to be given on December 23rd and that my niece slneed to be there on that day. My niece I told her she works in a nursing home taking care of elderly people and she could not make it over to pick up food. I think that facility was so rude so non-compassionate towards the people who needed help. They seemed to have forgotten what they are there for. She just told me to call a number to get assistance. Annoyingly. I donated for years to Salvation Army but now I don't see a reason why. Too bad it's really going to hurt the public losing a concerned person for someone with a large family, who needs help, I'll try other places other religious institutions but never them. I even still put money in their kettles but I'll never physically go there again. I saw they reallly did not care.
I informed them that I was homeless and had a friend drive me a far distance to get there. The gave me a tiny bag of food which I'm thankful for but I saw that every one else received large bags of food with meat and didn't received any thing really nutritious. Mostly dog for and although my dogs happy I refuse to eat dog food
The food they give are by fare the worst of any food bank and is the biggest none profit their is . It blessing for the help 🙏 but I'm sure theirs better donations from organization if the churches here can get them I'm sure you can as well. Your people should mean more then taking money from the government and giving your people scarpes.
