Doris, we feel incredibly lucky to have you as our toddler’s teacher. Your warmth, patience, and genuine love for the children shine through every day. Our child has grown so much — socially, emotionally, and in confidence — and we know that’s because of your guidance and encouragement. We especially appreciate how you communicate with us and keep us updated. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our little one is in such caring hands. Thank you for all the hugs, lessons, and smiles you bring into the classroom!
My son started at age two, and I'm truly happy he's there. Everyone who works there is wonderful, and I'm especially happy with Miss Doris. She's been such a sweetheart to my son since day one, and not just to mine, but to all the children she cares for. I can go to work with peace of mind knowing my son is in her hands. I've been to other daycares, and my son would cry and not want to stay, but at this place, he's happy. I sincerely hope it always stays this way.
What a wonderful experience i have had at Romper Room. My kids love going here everyday, they cant wait to get there and see their teachers, and the directors Angela & Jerry. Such a great staff. What an amazing school this is. If you are looking for a family oriented, well structured daycare this is where you want to go.
My son has been here since he was two years old and he LOVES it here. I haven’t ever seen him assimilate so well. The teachers there are all so friendly. Miss Shannen, Miss Doris, are the ones he usually has but the other teachers there are also great as well he will have them when he is older. They work so hard every day to make sure the kids are happy, healthy, and have fun!!
Unfortunately I did not have a great experience using this daycare. I initially chose them due to their great reviews, not being faith based (which can be hard to find these days), and due to the daycare feeling very home like. While using this daycare these are the things I liked: The staff is very nice, I love that there are animals at the daycare, the location is very close to my work and home, the tuition is reasonably priced, and the tuition included breakfast and snacks. For an additional $15 a week the daycare will provide lunch as well. They will also allow you to pay for your Childs lunch that day, if needed. Now on to the issues I had with the daycare: There is essentially 0 communication on how your child is doing throughout the day, and unless you specifically ask upon pickup how their day was you'll just never be told. When we first started at this daycare they would send home paper slips daily that had things checked off to show how your Childs day was. But they soon switched over to using the Brightwheel app which was then never updated. When I would arrive to pickup my daughter they would already have her waiting for me out in the lobby area, so there was hardly an opportunity to speak with her actual teacher in order for me to ask how her day was. Also, because of the lack of communication from the staff there were numerous times where my child would come home wearing another Childs clothes or diapers because my child had run out and I was never told. This means that when you are sending clothes, diapers, and wipes for your child be aware that there is a high chance you are buying diapers, wipes, and clothes for other children at the center. On the topic of diapering, my child would come home from this center with a clean diaper on, but feces still in her vagina. This happened 4-5 times. Which means she was not being wiped properly after pooping. When I brought this to the attention of the staff via the Brightweel app I was told that my daughter doesn't like having her diaper changed and would say "ow" while they were wiping her. I am sure my daughter would hate an infection in her vagina a lot more than she would hate being wiped appropriately. On many occasions my daughters lunch box would come home infested with ants. When I brought this to the attention of the staff I was told this is impossible to avoid in Florida. So was my child eating food infested with ants while at this facility? Overall this daycare isn't the worst you can find. But it's certainly not up to the standards that I would like for my child, which is why I pulled her from this center.
