What Parents Say
These reviews are not about daycare services but rather about The Rock Church as a religious facility and community gathering space. Parents praise the church's welcoming atmosphere, spiritual leadership, and community events including children's birthday parties. One reviewer specifically commended the birthday party coordinator Mary for handling setup, decorations, and food service professionally.
I have loved visiting the Rock church for conferences with my home church. I appreciate the atmosphere and sound teaching. Mike Spray has definitely made a positive difference in my life. I'm glad this is one of our sister churches.
I spontaneously decided to go to the Rock church on Sun. I arrived 25 min late, thinking, oh well, I will miss the worship but hear the sermon. There were a few people I ran across when entering and they were all very friendly. I was there til 10:40 (started at 9:45), and I had yet to hear any sermon. I was first surprised when I entered at how empty it was. I like when the room isn't too dark, that was a positive. However, I didn't leave because of the time, but the head-banging, extremely loud "music". Many may like this style, but I go to church to worship Jesus, and hear the truth from His word and fellowship. I am not one to choose a church based on music, however, when I feel like I will suffer hearing loss and it's nearly impossible to actually worship God, that's different. Then when I hear babbling behind me (not a language, unless your a baby), and no interpretation which goes against God's word, that was enough. I did not hear the sermon, so I have no idea what that was like. I just am sharing incase others would benefit from a heads up on the "music". Where are the godly churches? Another disapppintment.π
Nice church and a lot of friendly people. The Joshua Aaron concert was great as it brought together many people from around Colorado to praise the Lord
Not a real review. Just reminding myself this church doesn't fit well for what my family is looking for in fellowship.
This review is for their kid parties, Mary is so great at making the experience stress free for parents and fun for kids. You show up and she just handles everything, setting up any food you bring, decorations, etc. And she serves all the kids food and cake too, it was their birthday but felt a little like mine lol :). And the play structure is huge and the kids all love it. Way better than parties at the MAC because you get the place to yourself, no having little kids run over by older crazy kids! And it's super affordable, I'm sure we'll have more parties there over the years.
