This is the best preschool in Austin. The facilities are wonderful but the teachers and staff are AMAZING, this school has changed our lives and the lives of our children in the best way possible. I will forever be a supporter of The Rise School and their mission of inclusion, love and education.
The Rise School of Austin is a truly magical place. The staff are not only well educated, but so passionate about teaching their students in a way that is meaningful to each child, regardless of ability. Rise teaches reading, writing, math, technology and self -awareness along with speech, music and motor skills therapies. With three playgrounds and a one of a kind gym, The Rise School far surpasses all others in early childhood education.
This has been the best decision I have made for my son. He has attended The Rise School for four years, and the teachers and staff have truly set him up for success in kindergarten (and beyond). The amount of thoughtfulness that goes into every day makes such an impact on all aspects of his development! The teachers truly see my son as a person, and care about him deeply.
We had two children attend Rise. One who is severely differentlyabled and uses a wheel chair and one who was typically developing. It was a 3 hour daily round trip drive for our family and was the best decision we could have made. It made a shocking difference for our typically developing child. She loved feeling the sense of leadership and for the first time really felt special without all of the focus being on her differentlyabled brother. She had greater compassion for the other special needs students and the curriculum was outstanding. It made for an easy transition into kindergarten. Our severely differentlyabled son was well taken care of and educated on a global level. The teacher and aides implemented OT, PT, speech and music therapy with all of their instruction. The growth that took place in the classroom is nothing that I could accomplish through traditional ECI and a few hours a week of therapy. It was one of the best decisions I have made for my children. I only wish that Rise went beyond pre-school and was implemented like this at our public school system.
Wonderful, inclusive environment. Hands down best preschool in Austin.
