This just happened: I was coming to look at the apartments for rent behind this childcare facility when I heard a child crying. Fifteen minutes later, I still heard them crying and went to look for the child to see if anyone was helping them. I saw one toddler left outside in the cold, crying by where the door to this facility was. I ran around to the front and knocked on the door and a male came out and saw the child. He quickly ran inside to let her in through the door she was standing near. He claimed that the other children were playing on the other side of the building, which was a blatant lie because I had already run around the entire building to get to the front door, and this two year old was very obviously left unattended and very upset. No adult or other child was anywhere outside. This was obviously a situation where she was either forgotten or purposefully left outside. I called SAPD to document this, and they were sending an officer to check on the child. I'll post this review on every forum I can to warn parents about this. Imagine if someone with bad intentions had discovered her first, instead of a mother.
Don't judge a book by it's cover! My daughter (2 years old) has been going to this daycare for 3 months now and loves it! She surprises me everyday with new songs and Spanish phrases that she learns. Staff is super sweet and keeps us informed. Very budget friendly too!
Who would ever send their kids to a place with a director with the worst customer service and attitude ever. I just moved to San Antonio from across the country and called to inquire FIRSTLY about availability for my TWO children (infant and 2 yr old). It's summertime and many places have space for one but not the other. He went off on a rant about not giving rates over the phone because "he isn't going to compete with anyone" and "what am I looking for, the cheapest daycare or a place to send my kids?" I'm sorry but what? Of course price is a factor for ANY parent, I never even asked about competing prices. To treat a parent like they are being cheap and don't have their childrens best interests in mind is NOT how you gain business. You could offer the best prices, the best curriculum, security cameras, small student to teacher ratios, the best lunches, the cleanest facility, WHATEVER but because of such a nasty disrespectful attitude, I would NEVER send my children here. He did say he's been in business for 12 years and he isn't going to compete with anyone but he opens at 5:30am which is definitely a competitive time. Anyone stumbling across these reviews, please beware that they are misleading. The director is not a nice person.
My daughter went here from 6 weeks till she was about one until I was unemployed. But I LOVED the staff always so friendly and willing to work with us. Always answered all questions or concerns if any. (usually only about holidays) Would definitely be willing to place her back here!
Love this daycare. And it’s like family to us. They have taken care of all of my 3 kids.
