We LOVE Downing Street! Since it's a parent-run coop, I've been able to meet so many parents - it's more than just a "hi" at drop off. The teachers are amazing, the space is so cute, and getting to know the other children who go to school with my daughter is amazing. If you want to be involved with your kids' school, this is the place to go! (Also, because it's a coop, the tuition is much more reasonable.)
We are so happy we found Downing Street - the moment we walked in the door and saw the classroom (charming, cozy, perfect) and met Nancy (the most empathetic, kindest teacher you can imagine) we knew we found the ideal place to start our son's school journey. He loves going, we love taking him, and we love the opportunity to build a community with other Downing Street families through the work of the co-op, doing parent of the day, and spending time with our kids together at drop-off, pickup, and beyond. We love Downing Street Playgroup!
An amazing gem. This school is pure community and reflects the spirit of a true preschool with emphasis on play as a child’s work and deep understanding of children’s development on the part of both teachers, who are not just gifted and empathic educators but overall beautiful souls. I couldn’t be more grateful that my toddler got his start with school at Downing Street playgroup. It not only promoted his general love for getting out of the house in the morning and going to school, but it supported me as the mom in acclimating to the routines and emotional, physical requirements and expectations of having a school child.

We love Downing Street. This is our second year at the school. The teachers are incredible - they know my daughter so well and are so experienced with handling all the different personalities in the classroom.
