The Pillars Christian Learning Center

We enrolled my son as an infant in July of 2024 at this location. Heather was a great director and every single employee knew my son’s name and seemed to genuinely care for him. Recently, I new director took over and all the original employees that were there when we first enrolled all left. It seemed like every day there was a different teacher in my son’s class. Not only were the new staff members not friendly, you would walk into the facility and no one sitting at the front desk would even greet you like Heather used to do every single day. Pillars used to be a great resource for kids but it seems like this particular location has gone down hill. The staff members are leaving for a reason. Truly think about what you’re getting yourself into before you enroll your children here. I did not feel safe sending my son every day to staff that didn’t seem to care and had about 13-15 toddlers in a classroom with only two teachers. There needs to be a lot of changes made here, because the new ones they are making isn’t working for the kids.

I love it here at The Pillars Christian Learning Center on Bandera! The Faith based Curriculum is so good and really helps my child learn about the love of Jesus. We love the Bridge classroom and everything that it teaches. Great Learning Center!

My twins have been coming to the pillars for a little more than a year and they just LOVE coming to school. The faith based curriculum is perfectly geared towards their age range and they love to come tell me about the Bible stories they are learning. Miss Michelle is the sweetest, she has a bond with every kid in her class and she is great at giving me a summary of their day at every single pickup. Front desk staff and director are very friendly, welcoming, and informative as well. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else.

I love being a part of The Pillars. It's like my family away from family. Everyone is so welcoming and the atmosphere is such a positive place. I look forward to going every single day. My daughter loves Mission Club here at The Pillars when school is out and absolutely adores her teacher. She always has so much fun and learns so much. The Pillars has definitely helped her grow!

I had my daughter at another learning center and prayerfully made a transition to Pillars at Bandera after about six months and am glad we did. I don’t know that I’ve ever been to another establishment where every single staff member is so genuinely kind! From the curriculum to the chapel services, in class dance parties, and events they host, it’s wonderful. I know my daughter definitely enjoys her school day and is always excited to go back every morning. We love our Pillars Family and definitely recommend it for any family that is looking to send their child/children to a Christian based learning center.
