What Parents Say
Phoenix Montessori School receives unanimous 5-star reviews from parents who praise the Montessori method, small class sizes, and individualized attention. Parents consistently report their children advance significantly in reading, math, and critical thinking skills before entering elementary school. The experienced, committed teaching staff and strong parent involvement are frequently highlighted as key strengths.
Phoenix Montessori has been an incredible experience for our family. The teacher-to-student ratio is outstanding, and we can truly see the impact of the individualized attention our child receives. She gets meaningful one-on-one time that builds her skills, supports her independence, and creates such a positive learning environment. The staff here is wonderful... trustworthy, experienced, and deeply committed to Montessori education. The low turnover speaks volumes. It’s clear they love what they do, and it shows in the way they care for the kids. We also appreciate how involved parents get to be. From holiday parties and end-of-year recitals to conferences and even weekend classroom visits where your child can show off their favorite activities, we always feel connected and welcomed. Most importantly, our child absolutely loves going to school. She’s learning far more than we ever expected at this age, and the school consistently encourages her independence and confidence. We feel equipped, supported, and truly grateful to be part of this community. Highly recommend!
Amazing! All of my kids have gone here and it’s such an advantage. The class size is very small so all the kids have so much time getting one on one schooling! The Montessori method is really impressive in early writing, reading, and math! You’ll be blown away by what your 3 year old can do.
It was by chance that I found out about Phoenix Montessori. A mother at a park mentioned it to me. I was curious since I knew nothing about Montessori schooling. I knew I wanted something more than my current preschool option. I called and met with Mrs. Blackford. After meeting with her I knew that my son needed her as his teacher. My oldest went there for two years 2014-2016. He is now in the second grade and is in the top reading level in current school. Math concepts and reading comprehension are some of his greatest strengths, that I credit to the teachers at Phoenix Montessori. My daughter is currently on her first year and my youngest will join her for the 2018-2019 school year. I drive 40 min round trip twice a day because it is so worth it! They love their teachers! I am thankful that my children have a strong foundation in education and a love for reading!
We have been blessed to have our children attend Phoenix Montessori. My eldest daughter graduated last year from kindergarten and started when she was just 2 1/2 yrs old. She transitioned quite well into our public school and was advanced in her math and reading skills entering first grade. The teacher's commitment to Maria Montessori's methods and to each individual child has truly created the foundation from which she'll continue to grow and thrive. We have been so pleased with their results that our second child currently attends the school and will complete Kindergarten as her older sister did. I would highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a phenomenal early education school.
The teachers at Phoenix are top notch and work relentlessly to bring out the best in every child. My two older children not only loved their time at Phoenix, but they developed intellectual curiosity and stellar math and reading skills. After Phoenix, transitioning to first grade was a breeze. I remain grateful to Mrs. Blackford, Mrs. Fernandez, and Mrs. Cheney for so brilliantly teaching my kids and providing them with a strong, priceless foundation. My youngest is in his final year at Phoenix, and he cannot wait to get there every day. Like his brother and sister, he is thriving in the true Montessori environment of Phoenix. We feel incredibly lucky that our children get to learn from the very best in the field. Truly a wonderful place!!
