The Parks At Wynnewood-After School

I've lived here since November. The staff is awesome and it's great place for your first apt or if you need low income rent. My only complaint is the lack of maintenance to the units. They have several issues due to the fact that the apartments are pretty old, but they don't take the time to replace any of the outdated problems.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! IT IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK. Parks at Wynnewood is a an apartment complex that is yes affordable for low-income families but no place for a family. Parks at Wynnewood to service is very poor when it comes to getting work orders done not only by maintanance crew but also by the staff in the office itself. I feel like the whole staff crew should get fired and a new staff should be put in place as well as the owner of the apartment complex and City of Dallas should also come out and look at these apartments. I have live here since last year and I'm in the decision to move because I have been dealing with the same issue that supposedly was supposed to be fixed back last year but it did not all they did was paint over the issue. I have ceiling leakage again and this time it is worse. It is in the master bedroom and living/ dining room. I put in the work order for the leakage in the master room back in March and here it is May the issue is not fixed. Every time I call up to the office all they tell me is that they have to call the contractors or wait until the contractors come out the same old song and dance I had last year. The leakage is so bad that the wall is getting soft, cracking, has brown spotting, with a little mold spot on it. The ventilator door is water damaged with brown spotting. My family can't live in this issue so we are going to move this is low down pity shame of an apartment complex.

I don't have nothing bad to say but I been trying to move in something real quick so me and my family want be homeless. I losted everything in the storm n just trying to start over without my kids seeing me stress. I'm not worried about nothing but answers on how quick is the move in. I need a 2 or 3 bedroom asap. I have a job just not making enough for 880 a month.

Judging by comments, I will not recommend these apartments to my daughter. She has a special needs child and low income. Just because it’s housing, does not mean neglect the people that are in need of assistance. If we all could live rich, we would! The staff (leadership) must first take pride at the location instead of just collecting a check. We must care about our community and act upon it. Sad comments...everybody can’t be wrong.

The staff is horrible except for the manager, the assistant and leasing agent Gloria & Irma treat the tenants like they are beneath them and they are both very rude. They don't take work orders seriously and do not put in any effort to make their residents feel appreciated, if you want results it's best to deal with the manager, she is business professional and fair and puts an effort toward the property, i worked there so this isn't something i heard but more of what i witnessed
