The Nurtury

Our Daughter attended the Nurtury for about 18 months. At first it was going well but, over time we realized that it was not the best environment for her. She started acting up and didn’t want to goto school, she told us what was going on and it became obvious that we needed to get her into a different situation asap. As it turns out there were some pretty serious issues with staff miss-treating the kids with what amounted to heavy handed discipline which might have been acceptable 50 years ago but, is borderline abusive today. . To the credit of the ownership they let the person go but, it seems they’d been turning a blind eye for quite a while. The situation prompted us to look elsewhere and we wound up finding much better care for our daughter at only a slight increase in cost across town and now she’s thriving and loves going to school. All I can say is look at the state of Ohio website for childcare search facilities and review the complaints here before entrusting your child to this facility. I understand that staffing these facilities is a real challenge in today’s economy and I hate to leave a negative review but, after 10 months at another school it’s painfully obvious that the Nurtury is not the best option in town. In addition to the staffing issues the layout is a little sketchy(lots of stairs) and the playground seemed a little unsafe/run down too.

Wonderful School! We love it. The staff is so kind and caring. They feel like family.

Love this place and so does our son. It's perfect for Fenn kids as it is right next door. They schedule a lot of extra stuff for early release days to make up the difference of time too. Don't know how we would have survived this school year without them!!

I've sent two children to the Nurtury over the past decade and a half. The entire staff is fantastic! They are patient, skilled, and loving. I highly recommend them.

Best teachers and staff. I wouldn't trust the care of the children to anyone else!
