The new director is fantastic! All of the teachers are very sweet and really care. They supply healthy food and drinks that my kiddo loves. They take the children to the potty at a developmentally appropriate age. The fenced in playground is fully shaded with mature treas so the kids aren't baking in the hot sun. My child goes running in every day excited to be there and comes home smiling. The administrative staff has been super helpful and nice.
My grandson has attended The Nurtury for a couple of years (my daughter was there 25 years ago). I couldn’t believe how the condition of the building had deteriorated over the years when my grandson first started. However, there is a new director that is very impressive and I can visually see improved conditions happening on a regular basis. The care shown by the teachers is top notch. You can tell that they love my grand baby and the feeling is mutual.
I’m only giving 5 stars for the teachers. I agree with the review below mine by “Super Mommy”. Teachers are great. The director is a joke, I don’t know how she is even a director. Like the comment below mine said she must have slept the entire time through school. Stop forcing kids to go to sleep, if they lay there quiet then let them. Im a single mom and I don’t play about my kids. Something better change or it’s gonna get real ugly. Stop giving them snacks they don’t like. Stop making them eat food they don’t like if they have told you before multiple times they don’t like it then don’t force them to eat it to get something they do like. Many other parents have talked to me about how hungry their kids are when they leave and I agree and that’s just sad. You are a director, you need to act like it and show some care and compassion. This is nothing against the teachers. They are great, very sweet and truly care. My problem is with the director.
If I could give negative stars I would. My son regressed from potty training and started using the bathroom on himself again because they kept him in diapers. My babies came home starving due to portions of food being given. Staff yells at the kids. Don't send your babies here please. The director will deny everything. Look at the DSS reports that are public!!!
Best daycare my son has ever went too. The workers there are friendly and understand me on how i like thangs done with my child. There meals there are good for children and they have drinks throughout the day . my son loves being there . they play outside atleast. 2 times a day.
