The Neighborhood School

We love TNS and more importantly so does our child. As first time parents it was overwhelming at first to leave our baby at daycare but the staff were all so kind and made sure to help the transition go as smoothly as possible. We had constant communication through the Brightwheel app which helped us as nervous parents. It’s wonderful to get updates throughout the day so that I know exactly how many bottles, diapers, snacks, and medication my child receives. And the pictures! My favorite aspect of the app is when staff send a picture of my baby doing something fun or cute. Our caregivers have also helped our baby navigate her stages of development and have been a continual resource for us and supported all of her needs. Care is tailored to your child, it’s not a one size fits all situation. I love that the facility has security codes and that we get updates when they perform safety training like fire drills. Pick up and drop off is easy and it’s nice to get face to face time with staff at the end of the day. Even the babies interact with the developmental curriculum at their own pace, and it has been amazing watching our child excel with the help of staff. I couldn’t recommend this facility more, we love them!

We have two girls in TNS and love the staff who care for them. The curriculum used is helping our kids learn and thrive, while being challenged. They get to play outside nearly everyday and I love that they use the Brightwheel app to communicate with us about their days!

We love everyone at The Neighborhood School. I almost didn’t enroll our kiddo here because there weren’t any reviews for this place so I’m here to write one about this wonderful daycare/preschool in case other parents are like me and really rely on recommendations. My child has been here for about 1 year in the 2-3yo classroom with Ms Isabel and Ms Alyx. Both are adoring, patient, encouraging, communicative, teachers. My kiddo comes home saying “I love Ms Isabel” nearly every day. They truly feel loved and cared for there. One of the students in my child’s class is a “biter” and has bit my kid but the staff handled everything with the utmost respect and care to everyone involved. This child and my child are still best friends thanks to the way these situations were dealt with. The school uses an app for checking the kids in/out and communication between the parents and staff, which is super convenient especially with Covid precautions. We have non-traditional values and celebrate non-Protestant holidays and the school has been very accepting and accommodating of this. They have also been very flexible with our rotating work schedules. The kids engage in social play, learn emotional regulation, and participate in sensory activities daily. Ms Maureen is the director and she will answer any of your questions (and I’ve had an abundance of them) in depth and ensure everyone’s expectations are met. Ms Ariel is the assistant director and her warm and bubbly personality is enchanting to the children here. My kiddo loves her. We also know one of the 3-4yo teachers and she is wonderful. We have a friend whose son is 4 and attends here and they love the school as well. I have yet to meet a staff member who has been anything but excellent.

I would highly recommend. This has been the best experience I've had in Cheyenne. Amazing care and focus on early education. Up to date and beautiful facility and amazing staff! Thanks for all you do for the children of Cheyenne!
