A group of ladies went to see an exhibit. The place was really nice and the painting were very nice. Had a wonderful time. Take some time and please attend. Well worth the time.
Great experience setting up string lighting for a March wedding here. The existing hooks installed high up on the walls made for a seamless install! Excited for our next event here.
Always a wonderful and beautiful building even when it was the town of Montpelier's High School.
I debated posting this however at this point I felt necessary. I'm not normally someone that causes any uproar but the way I have been treated by the Montpelier Center is completely ridiculous. Last week I received a call because I had only purchased a child ticket for the winter breakfast and the lady said that children couldn't be there unattended. I explained that I would be there that I wasn't going to eat the breakfast. The lady on the phone got extremely rude and said "this is a fundraiser and you will be taking up space" I told her I didn't need a seat I could stand to the side while my son ate breakfast, I explained that I needed the earlier time slot for the Santa picture due to a previous obligation is why I purchased the breakfast because according to online the early slots were only for breakfast participants, she got very rude and told me this was for charity. So I told her that nowhere was it listed that I was required to purchase an adult ticket and for not to preach to me about charity. A few days later I received an email stating I would receive a refund for the breakfast because it wasn't safe for me to stand to the side but that I could come for my scheduled time frame for the pictures. On Saturday this same woman continued to be rude to me speaking to me with an extreme attitude in front of my son. Today I spoke with the director on the phone and told him I've never been so insulted over the fact that I didn't spend $10 on a breakfast. He basically blew it off by saying "I've never known her to act this way and I will talk to her about it but I think the issue was about a child being unsupervised" before I could remind him that I explained that I would be there he stated "Thank you for bringing it to my attention" and hung up
We held a surprise 50th birthday party for my sister at The Montpelier Center and it was fantastic. The staff was supportive, happy to answer questions and knowledgeable. The facility is wonderful. Reasonably priced with plenty of parking. I would definitely hold another event here!
