So far I have 3 grandchildren attending The Little School. There will be one more next year. They have learned so much from the first few days. The teachers are very caring and I know the children are safe. They feed them lunch and snack every day. I picked them up and many times they don’t want to leave! It’s a great school!
I can’t say enough good things about The Little School!! From the moment we enrolled our daughter, it was clear that this is a special place. It feels like home. The teachers are warm, truly compassionate and loving; they create an environment where children feel safe and valued. It’s evident that they genuinely care about each child’s well-being and development. The play-based learning approach encourages creativity and exploration, and our daughter has blossomed in this environment. She comes home super excited about all the new things she’s learned, and I’m amazed at the variety of crafts they do! They also put on the most elaborate, cutest shows that are just the best! They provide organic, healthy lunches made right there, which is such an amazing bonus!! Overall, the staff at The Little School is exceptional, and we feel so fortunate to have found such a warm, nurturing and enriching place for our daughter to grow. Highly recommend!!!
Well run, friendly, regular interactions with an involved owner and well selected staff. Came highly recommended by a respected colleague who had 3 kids go here. My 3 year old was getting a lot of feedback regarding his active behavior and refusal to sit still for long periods from our local Apple school , so we switched to the Little School of Waldwick. His writing, art and focus skills have noticeably improved since the switch. Turns out a little more freedom, along with positive environment and interactions were all he needed. The classroom is interactive, fun, and makes me want to be a kid just to experience it. Also, the plays/ holiday events are impressive! 10/10
The Litrle School of Waldwick has been the breath of fresh air we have been searching for! Previously, being enrolled in another school left us with a feeling that something was missing. After finding this school we now realize it was fun and creativity! The owner is very involved and has hired a wonderful staff to lead the classrooms. My children come home happy and singing new songs everyday! It truly is a place where learning is made fun! We are forever grateful and can not wait for the adventures and learning to come !

They are warm, nurturing, professional, and truly care about every child in the school. Everyone there will take the time to speak with you if you have any concerns, never making you feel rushed. Your child will be prepared for kindergarten when they are finished, and will have had fun getting to that point. One of the most important gifts you can give your child is good self esteem, and that is Ms. Maria's goal, for everyone to leave her school with confidence. My kids searched for a long time for a nursery school that fit their needs for my grandson. I think it's fair to say, they hit the jackpot when they found The Little School of Waldwick!
