My daughters love coming here each day. Everyone is so loving & welcoming and my preschooler is learning a lot. We love it here.
I’m so glad we found this daycare for my 4 month old. Staff is excellent. The main ones have been there YEARS, which speaks volumes. The prices are the most affordable that I’ve seen. We only need two days a week for now, which no other daycare allows for infants. Most daycares only take infants on a full time schedule, which we didn’t need yet. My SO and I work full time, but he’s off two days during the week and my mother-in-law has him one day a week. Eventually we will use them full time when he’s older. But to ease him into daycare (and mommy too) it has been wonderful to find a place that allows that. THIS daycare being so flexible makes them far more superior to all the others. I highly recommend and I hope we stay in East Mesa close enough to this place as I want him to stay here till he starts kindergarten.
My daughter has made a ton of complaints about This place. She tells me the older kids are bullies here, they don’t allow children to bring lunches. So if your child doesn’t like their food. They are out of luck, just as my child was. After picking my daughter up she told me she had been sick all day because the daycare did not feed her. Initially my ex was taking her here, and had refused to inform me of the name or location of where my child was at. By state law, both parents with custody are to know the location of their child. And it’s also the duty of the daycare to ensure both parents are aware of the child’s location. It took almost a year for me to get the name of the daycare. Thanks to custody court. I was granted it finally.
I attended The Little Prospector from the time I wasn't even a year old all the way until I moved on to middle school. This place was like a second home for me and they really made not only myself but my parents feel like we were a part of their family. Even as a kid I knew they were more than just a daycare center. They had structured learning for the children who weren't yet enrolled in elementary school and provided a relatively quiet place for students who were enrolled in school to work on homework until they were picked up by their respective guardians. They provided breakfast before the bus arrived for those students who either didn't have time or the funds to provide it for themselves, lunch during their summer programs and an afternoon snack. This is a place that truly cares about the children they're entrusted with and I can't recommend it enough. I'm proud to have been a part of this family and, if I still lived in Apache Junction, I would send my future kids here.
Lots of teen age kids working here, but over all they are friendly and have been great with my daughter. Super thorough. Clean school. And they accept state assistance if you cant afford child care.
