The Little Place Too Neighborhood Kids

My son started NKS 4 months ago, and today I can say it’s the best decision we made. I want to start by thanking Mrs. Shawntay. She truly has a gift - she transmits a sense of peace and security that every parent searches for when choosing a school especially when the transition from one school to another is difficult. I know my son is in good hands where ever she is. Also, want to thank Mrs. Sabrina she is also amazing as well as Mrs. Meka, Mrs. Cathy and Mrs. Janet. We are grateful for you.

Putting my son in this school has truly been the best decision I’ve ever made. When I first started looking, I had three tours scheduled at different schools, with NBK being the very first one. The moment I walked in, I immediately loved the environment and ended up registering my son right away. The registration process was so easy, and Ms. Shawntay (the director) guided me through every step with patience and kindness. As for his teacher Ms. Nisha, my son and I absolutely love her! She is actively involved in the children’s learning and development. She’s not just there to collect a check, she genuinely cares. She is always sending videos and pictures of what they do throughout the day. I know my little one is getting the proper education and care everyday. I also love that the school has a lot of parent involvement and events for the families. My son loves going to school every single day. In fact, when it’s time for pick-up, he never wants to go home because he wants to stay and play. That alone showed me that he feels safe, happy, and truly sees NBK as his second home. As a mother, I highly recommend you look no further and take a tour here. I promise you and your little one will love it just as much as we do.

We are incredibly thankful and truly blessed to have found this wonderful school for our 3-year-old daughter. Ms. Shawntay, the director, was the first person I spoke with, and she was/is so kind, informative, and helpful. When we toured the school and learned that it is faith-based, we were even more excited. As a Christian family, it means so much to us that our daughter is in an environment where God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are honored. Our daughter began in Ms. Mimi’s class (who has since moved on), and she had her nearly fully potty-trained within a week! After that, she had only a few accidents—and then none at all. Amazing! She then moved to Ms. Sandra’s class for a short period of time, where her vocabulary and knowledge grew so much. Now she is in Ms. Phaedra’s class and continues to learn even more. She is learning her alphabet and how to write. She gets to paint, play outside and so much more! We also love that this school prays with the children. That means so much to us. 🥹🙏🏻❤️ Thank you to everyone at the school for creating such a loving, supportive, and faith-filled environment for our kids!

My son is currently attending Neighborhood Kids Preschool for VPK. I can’t say enough about how much more satisfied I am with this school compared to his last preschool. Ms. Shawntay and Ms. Sabrina are the directors who are always so welcoming when I come by for drop off or pick up. The facility is clean and I love that they also have a faith curriculum. My son appears to be thriving here thus far. Ms. Cathy is my son’s teacher. She too is kind and engages well with the kids. And lastly, they keep me updated throughout the day with photos, food he eats, and summaries of what my son did during the day. I would wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to anyone searching for a positive environment that fosters individual growth and education.

Love this preschool. They take great care of my little one. She can't wait to go to school everyday. Everyone greet us with a smile every morning at drop off and at pickup. Great experience so far.
